What Gamespot Users have to say about Grandia III

Would have been a very good RPG if the difficulty and emotional levels went down a tad.

Grandia 2 was one of the best games I have ever played. It had everything: a great battle system, a great cast of characters, and a fairly interesting story (although it was average at best). After playing Grandia 2, I w... Read Full Review

Worth it if you value gameplay and graphics over storytelling.

Story: The story in this game can be summed up in 2 words *poorly executed* The game starts out quite well, good pacing, good character development. Interesting plot. Then about 10 hours later it goes right through the t... Read Full Review

    grind, grind, grind

As a lover of all things rpg I have to say Grandia 3 is a good game. The graphics will not blow your mind but they are still very nice. The sound is good and I liked the musical score. I liked the way the people and oppo... Read Full Review

    Good, but not great

Grandia III is a rather enjoyable ride of an RPG, but due to a few annoyances it fails to be a very memorable one. The combat system rewards patience and planning of powerful combos and magic. Too bad you have too wat... Read Full Review

Awesome battle system and a so-so story.

Grandia III starts off with a bang, but quickly drops down hill. It's got a lot of strong points which it shows off right at the beginning, but after getting used to these things you start to see the games weaknesses wh... Read Full Review

I’ve been waiting for a game to rival Final Fantasy X for the longest time now and this game came really close

Since the original Grandia hit the PS, and caused the rise of a great series, fans were disappointed with the Grandia games on the PS2. Grandia 2 didn’t offer much and Grandia Xtreme was horrible. Now Grandia 3 is now ou... Read Full Review

    Great game but very linear.

I really enjoyed this game. Its gameplay was a nice change, hopefully FF12's battle system will be on lines of this one. There is not much "extra" to do, you stick pretty close to the story at all times so that was ki... Read Full Review

Great fun! It's a pretty solid game. It will really give you some fun time, i can guarantee you that.

You don't want to rent this kind of game. I finished it with 40h of game play more or less. You won't be disappointed. Still, it's not the best RPG in the series or of the year. But you should give it a try ^^ really ni... Read Full Review

    *Yawn*

A fan of previous Grandia games I had high expectations for part 3, but sadly I am left feeling very disappointed. The story is very pre-pubescent in my opinion and is more directly towards younger gamers just beginning... Read Full Review
