The Wii finally gets the light gun game it deserves, and takes a giant crap on the Resident Evil equivalents!
Anyone who's played the original Dead Space game - and if you haven't, you should - will know what to expect from this. Despite being pretentiously-described as a "Guided First Person Shooter", this and other games of it... Read Full Review

Dead Space Extraction is a story driven rail shooter that manages to stay fresh and exciting up until the very end.
If you have been living on some remote space colony, mining for god knows what, you may have not heard of 2008's "Dead Space", a horror action-adventure game in which the player must survive a hostile alien infestation a... Read Full Review

Another light gun game! Dead Space is a terrific horror franchise, and DSE is a sweet adition to that, but its so short!
DSE will remind you of Doom 3 in terms of scares, but it has so little content that it doesn't even justify the time you spent playing. Replay value is virtually zero, aside from some very limited track junctions placed ... Read Full Review

A great "guided" shooter, Dead Space: Extraction is an excellent translation of the formula onto the Wii.
Dead Space: Extraction is an excellent translation of the Dead Space formula onto the Wii. The tense, noisy, bloody combat, and survival horror adventure gameplay have survived intact. The developers (Visceral) did a ... Read Full Review

Dead Space has reached the Wii and with awesome on-rail shooter action, Extraction is definatly a game you cant miss.
The second the game starts, you feel right at home, you start out as a enigener on the Ishimura. The scary space atmosphere is there just with some weaker graphics than the 360 and PS3 offered you. Any Dead space fan wou... Read Full Review

Great prequel but comes out a bit too short...
Having played Dead Space for the 360 and watching Downfall I was expecting a bit more in the department of a storyline when putting in DS: Extraction. Aside from that though the game is a solid rental and perhaps a purch... Read Full Review

Do not think this is JUST a On-Rail!
This game is addictive, has good graphics (for a Wii game) and do not leave the history behind. The bad of all that? Well, if it is addictive, the bad for this is that this game is short. It has good graphics, but at the... Read Full Review

A Space Odyssey
I'm certain I'm not in the minority when I say that when I heard Dead Space was coming to Wii as an on-rails shooter, I was less than thrilled. My initial response was, "why?" The port of Resident Evil 4 made clear just ... Read Full Review

Fun on rail shooter with decent plot
I purchased this game after my brother and I went through House of the Dead Overkill and was hoping for a similar experience. In that respect we were both disappointed as this game is quite different. The action is ... Read Full Review
