Dead Space has reached the Wii and with awesome on-rail shooter action, Extraction is definatly a game you cant miss.
The gameplay is very simplistic, its on rail so there isnt much you need to do except shoot those dang necromorphs. The on-rail gameplay isnt bad and offers great views and the strategic dismembermate is just as easy to do as it was on the 360 and PS3 for the first. Though you feel very controlled and sort of liek you have no control, its still an experiace worth trying. You get certain a time where you can look around and use your telekinesis and pick up audio logs, ammo, statis recharges and more. In this game your telekineis can pop up at any time. Although this is cool, its weird when there a cutscene and your flashing your telekinesis around. The tele. comes in handy when you need to pick up items. While your walking youll spot ammo cartridges and logs, you simply press A and the tele. force thing grabs it for you. Its cool, but somtimes anooying. To swicth weapons you must move the analog on the nunchuck, this get frustrating, but not so much to where your saying "Screw this game!" and throwing your controller down. Other than that the game is excellent and the gameplay is just as good as Dead space.
From a graphical perspective this game is probaly the best looking game on the system. The beutful backrounds, and the very surprisingly good face texture and voice acting, make this game look awesome. The necromorphs sluprt blood just as good as they did on the other systems. Awesome looking game.
The story is very immersive and very well crafted, you start out as a engineer, who sccidently activates a artifact that turns humans crazy. The commit suicide and kill other people. You just start out shooting people that have gone tottaly insane. You then find your self being a special agent that is on the colony grounds, who teams up with a commanding srgt., a lady that was the enginneer you played as, girlfriend, and a excecutive that runs engineering protocal. The story is great and is just worth your time
All in all Dead space extraction, is just as ggood as the first, and brings its own terror and good looks to the series
