    On the Beat

This is the first in what I feel is a very good and ambitious online game series and it still holds up. There really isn't much to say it's pretty much a simple concept, you control a paddle and hit the balls that com... Read Full Review

Bit.Trip.Beat's absurd difficulty thwarts any attempts for the game to be fun.

Pros: Great satisfaction when you succeed; The combination of visuals and audio can be mesmerizing Cons: The game is generally too hard; Tracks are too long; There aren't many tracks; Block types that inhibit your abi... Read Full Review

Punishingly difficult, short on content, but with undeniable allure.

There is something endearing about giant pixels and 8-bit music. Maybe it's the inherent hipness oozing from all things retro. Maybe it's the tickle of nostalgia for more seasoned gamers who remember their heyday. At any... Read Full Review

Fun yet frustrating. Has its moments but I'm still undecided whether it's worth it.

Gameplay: 3/5 + I guess the best way to describe this is a trippy version of Pong. You control a paddle that has to deflect colored blocks that are moving from the right side of the screen to the left. The thing is, t... Read Full Review

Retro, focus and concentration. The three words that describe Bit. Trip Beat.

Do you like retro gaming? Did you like or did you even know Pong back in the days? Pong was founded in 1972 by Atari. In short: It is a 2D table tennis game that you play against either a computer controlled opponent or ... Read Full Review

Your eyes will probably bleed and you may convulse also.

Just to start I'll say that Bit.Trip Beat is better than Void I think. For all the games that have warnings about having some kind of seizure while playing, Bit.Trip Beat might just be the one that it's actually true ... Read Full Review

Party like it's the 80's with up to four players in this unique rhythm experience.

Everything comes from something. We were before we became. From life comes rhythm, and from rhythm comes life. We are beings of information. Everything is a conduit for learning. We communicate in bits and bytes. An... Read Full Review

Bit.Trip Beat's a refreshing take on an old classic.

Anyone notice the recent trend of reviving old games recently? Particularly in the downloadable games space? I have. Heck, I've played quite a few of 'em, too. And they were all great. But none of 'em have done anything ... Read Full Review

    Awesomely Retro

The first thing you'll say about this game is "Old-Skool" Everything, from gameplay, music, graphics, is presented as if it had been pulled from your Grandpa's 2600. Well, maybe not that far. The gameplay for this gam... Read Full Review
