If you like the series, your heart will be broken.

I was looking forward to this release. Why? Because despite the mind boggling array of technical flaws and what was quite probably the worst combat system in the history of gaming, Gothic 3 had incredible potential. A... Read Full Review

A great looking action game without much else to offer.

Gameplay: The "open world" promised to players never existed. I think the game would be better explained as "open linear-area". You will explore new areas, however only after they are opened up to you when you prog... Read Full Review

By far the worst sequel since Fable 2

Yuck - Just plain Yuck! Where to start, the story line is pathetic. Without giving away any spoilers its a totally linear story, with no sense of imagination or inspiration, or even consideration for previous gothics.... Read Full Review

Stick with it and you might get a pleasant surprise.

Maybe it's not fair to review a game before you've completed it, but I really don't see this game getting any better. It is pretty hum-drum gameplay, as I only mix up my attacks out of sheer boredom as opposed to out of... Read Full Review

    Good game!

Graphics indeed are weird, other games as Oblivion have better graphics, but, this game shows a extense world, with various locations and very detailed environment. The underworld, caves, etc., expands the game, making i... Read Full Review

    Gothic series continues...

First of all, for those who say that this game has nothing to do with Gothic series except for lore and story, i must not agree. In my opinion this game is good new installment to the Gothic series. One thing that annoys... Read Full Review
