"I got signals. I got readings in front and behind!"
"GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER!!!" Downloaded yesterday for free from Steam. Was initially impressed with the audio/video capabilities for this FREE game. As a nice feature, if you don't like the great ambient music you ... Read Full Review

Before the Reactive Drop rebuild in 2017, Alien Swarm was just a flash in the pan back in 2010, albeit a bright one.
INTRO:In 2010, Alien Swarm debuted on Steam as a honey-pot of sorts. It is a completely free game, complementary to anyone who decided to hop onto Valve’s signature platform. It was also surprisingly fun, which was... Read Full Review

If you think that free game means bad or small game - try this. I was waiting Alien Swarm for 3 weeks, first screenshots impressed me to death, kinda Left 4 Dead & Alien Shooter crazy mix. The game is non-stop 4 playe... Read Full Review

Great, great, great multiplayer! Very tactical and engaging.
When i first started playing this with one of my best friends i thought to myself that a free valve made game had to either suck ass or be some kind of "scam". But when we had it downloaded, not many minutes later, we pl... Read Full Review

A only multiplayer game with a short campaign. But it's still great! Recommended for 4-player LAN-parties!
Overall: 7.5/10. It's to bad that this games campaign is so short, and that it's all multiplayer - no singleplayer. Those two facts lowers the score a lot, but if you are used to play games only with friends online and ... Read Full Review

Alien Swarm boasts balanced classes, strong cooperative play and a solid system of rewards.
If you were a part of Unreal Tournament 2004's lavish mod-community, then you might have played one of its revered, total conversions called Alien Swarm. It was a squad-based, top-down shooter with tactical sensibilities... Read Full Review

If Survival Horror met Top-Down.
There's a certain bit of appeal to Alien Swarm, which, despite having a very generic title, strays very far from a generic shooter. Alien Swarm introduces you to a top-down version of what is basically put L4D when th... Read Full Review

Probably best free game ever made!
Old-school action game with nice graphics, well designed maps, impressive number of guns and gadgets and fast paced, rather chaotic co-op gameplay. There are seven missions in the campaign and four classes to choose from... Read Full Review

Interesting, but not quite there for now.
Alien Swarm is a nice little free steam game that could 1 day become a big production. Its sort of a 3rd person strategy shooter game that you can play with youre friends without having to spend a lot of money to buy a 4... Read Full Review

A nice side-game for your library, hell, it's free.
A free download on Steam, you can't hammer this game with too many insults, but the gameplay gets old very quick, and has no real replay value after you've gone through the campaign a few times. 3/4 top-down gameplay ... Read Full Review
