That doesn't even make any sense...I haven't even used my headset at all to use any language, good or bad.

none of that means anything, however the language is prolly cuz u didnt talk that ppl complained about it, especially if you are laying team based games were communication is the key to winning.2pac_makaveli
I was playing Soul Calibur IV.
25% is pretty low. I'm up to 54%, and that's someone that never trashtalks or anything.Englando_IVSimilar here.

people bad rep each other for no reason. Its actually a poor system. Pay no attention to it.How can I be avoided for "language" when I haven't even used my headset?
DragonRebel0908
Because it doesn't matter what you do or don't do, people will still avoid you if they get pissed off.
I'm guessing they gave you a bad rep for not using a mic. Some games need team communication. That doesn't even make any sense...I haven't even used my headset at all to use any language, good or bad.

It's either that, or they just picked a random reason when they avoided. That doesn't even make any sense...I haven't even used my headset at all to use any language, good or bad.

I've noticed fighting games are an easy way to get bad rep. People hate to lose. :? Fighting and Sports games. If you only recently started playing online, then that probably means 4 people have used the reputation system on you. 3 said they liked you (75%), 1 chose to avoid you (25%) and chose language for the reason. Because there was only 1 bad feedback, 100% of it was because of language. It doesn't matter than you didn't have a headset, it was likely just someone you beat in a game being a sore loser and gave anyone that beat him bad rep. These sort of people frequent Halo 3, but also many shooters, sports or fighting games. Don't worry about your rep as it means nothing. Having a bad rep will not get you banned or suspended. Neither will avoiding players have much effect on who you get put with in online games. That doesn't even make any sense...I haven't even used my headset at all to use any language, good or bad.

Agreed. My rep went down a lot playing NHL 08 online.
[QUOTE="ghost5891"]it's not like it means anything. nothing ever happensaero250yep. Nope. If you get reported a lot you get suspended. So, it does mean something.

All the complaints are for trash talk and foul language and the funny thing is I only talk to my friends in our party. If they're not on I don't even use the freakin' mic. To the guy that made this thread, people are stupid as hell and will make these stupid accusations usually because you beat them in a game. The only advice I can give you is ignore the rep stats, they're stupid.
You seem to be angry as if you dont sear....yet you put a swear word in the topic titleThat doesn't even make any sense...I haven't even used my headset at all to use any language, good or bad.

No I didn't. "Crap" is not a swear word, unless you're like 5.

people bad rep each other for no reason. Its actually a poor system. Pay no attention to it. Agreed, especially with the "quit early" option what if I have to go out somewhere or eat?i'm like 75 avoided.
why? i play fair and don't use a mic
HAHA that is the best way I've also found to garner negative rep.none of that means anything, however the language is prolly cuz u didnt talk that ppl complained about it, especially if you are laying team based games were communication is the key to winning.2pac_makaveliThis is probably the case... Games like Left 4 Dead are a **** when you are down right below or behind someone and they are oblivious to your calls for help because they dont have a mic.. Also games like COD arent essential to have a mic, but its nice to be able to give warnings like "There are 2 guys in the mausoleum" and strategizing and so on.
I only played Soul Calibur IV. I haven't played any team-based games yet. I also tried using the headset on Soul Calibur and it didn't work.
other person who thinks the rep system is 100% true or dose something.
When someone goes leave feed back they pretty much pick anything they think can get you. In your case they choose language becuase your language sucks!!! because you don't have one
p.s last time i check i had a 96 avoided

If you dont graphicly swear in excitement/fear/anger in L4D 2, you arent playing it right. :D
