Well i love to snipe on games like cod4 but halo idk its just not that good

So what is your favorite and what have you heard is the best

I have to say gears of war. After playing it i now refer to headshots as pringles- once you pop you just can't stop.

Halo 3 and Gears are my favorite games to snipe in. Although Gears is usually more satisfying for me, I prefer Halo 3 over it because I'm better in Halo 3. Being very skilled at sniper in contrast to other popular weapons, especially in Halo, helps make the experience a lot better for me.

Any Delta Force game back on the PC, these games were a blast! For the 360, probably Splinter Cell but it's usually close range. COD5 has a few levels where it's pretty cool but otherwise not so much ammo. I did enjoy the sniper on Gears, especially the decapitation sound after a headshot :D Too bad there's no sniper-only game or at least gives you the option to only use sniper shots.

Gears sniping is awesome. I love the gushing blood. What a reward! CoD4 sniping is fun, too. I like how it simulates real sniping a bit (or atleast what I expect real sniping to be like).

Probably Cod:WaW. real easy kills. i got about 200 kills with the springfield the first 3 days i got it.

From a pure sniping standpoint I am going to go with the Ghost Recon games. Only because of the pure tactical approach to it.

Battlefield: Bad Company, you just feel so badass when you lead your shot and headshot a person halfway across the map. I can't wait to get that game back so I can play it again.

I've only had my 360 for a couple months, so I haven't playedm any shooters yet. CoD is pretty good, but I really enjoy sniping in Gears.

I love the feedback from the longshot in Gears, yet I love to see the little headshot symbol come up on Halo.

I like sniping in halo, cod's sniping is good, just not as satisfying since you can get a kill without even getting a headshot.

Mass Effect.

You can't improve your accuracy by holding your breathe. Games like Halo and Battlefield make sniping a childs play.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last couple of years, I'm sure you are aware of "no-scoping" and snipers with different levels of zoom... so no, sniping is very much the opposite of what you said. I suppose I could agree with you to some extent in regards to CoD (only the people who abuse/overuse the sniper, not the sniper in general).

Gears of War, cause you KNOW when you get a headshot... since, well, their head is longer on their neck.

and BF:BC, eventhough I really disliked most of the game, sniping in those long, open, wooded areas was cool as hell.

Why don't people like this game? I love it! I am on my second play through in 1 month! It never gets old!

Id have to go with CoD 4 or Vegas 2. Or good ol counter strike.. course you never really sniped as every knew the map and only difference you were long range..where....all the other guns could shoot almost as accurately with 1-2 shot bursts... lol So yeah.. CoD 4 or Vegas 2. Halo 3 sniping is too damn clunky for me. Adjusting the stick to try and follow a character is nigh impossible.
