In all honesty, which game do you think will win GOTY this year? [POLL]

Based on all of the footage released so far, which game do you think will win GOTY? I honestly believe Gears of War 3 will win. The campaign, the co-op, the horde, the beast mode, the competetive multiplayer, the graphics, it truly has everything going for it. If it isn't gears, it'll be Skyrim.

i say skyrim, but id love it to be gears. im so excited for gears. i havent been this excited since star wars battlefront 2 came out. im with you though, it has everything i could ever want from a gears of war game, its gonna last me a life time.

but elder scrolls games are amazing and like the above poster said, its one of the very few non saturated genres left. it will be a refreshing change of pace and i think everyone is gonna love it.

So far to be brutally honest. I feel that dead space 2 has been my game to beat. i will wait for gears 3 and so on.

Wow. I only own a 360 and am a bit of a fanboy, but even I know that Uncharted 3 will win everything. If we're talking 360 GOTY, then Skyrim of BF 3.

Gears 3 will be my personal favourite but BF3 or Skyrim will take that cake with the critics.

Like I've said in every other GotY thread, Portal 2 did everything it did perfectly.

I think Skyrim, but would love to see Dark Souls or Deus Ex: Human Revolution to grab the title.

I would love to see GOY3 win, but it won't. Itwillprobably win some FPS awards and such, but I don't see it winning GOTY. Skyrim has a chance and I wouldn't mind seeing it win.With a release in November it is entirely possible Uncharted 3 will get it, but this would be too bad since thiswhole seriesisslightly overrated.

I hope for and have voted for Battlefield 3 - This is my most anticipated game since GTAIV.

I'm going to guess this is 360 platform GOTY, due to the fact that this isn't in system wars. Probably Skyrim or Portal 2.

would like to believe that people are underestimating GOW3, but I don't see it. As for Uncharted having "no chance" against Skyrim and Deus Ex, I have to say you're wrong there. They might have better chances of winning, but Uncharted 3 will have a lot of support.

If you're talking about a "fan-voted" award, then I believe it will be battle between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3... But my personal prediction for GOTY, from actual reviewers, will be Skyrim.

Arkham City or Portal 2

I voted for Skyrim but I also think Skyward Sword has a good chance.

Are you kidding? There are a lot of websites that consider Uncharted 2 to be one of the best games all time, and there's nothing to suggest that Uncharted 3 will be worse.

My vote goes for Skyrim or Portal 2. Portal 2 was just flat out amazing, and Skyrim is my most anticipated game this year.

While I am looking forward to Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3, I feel neither of them have that "spark" for GOTY, however since they haven't come out yet its entirely possible I will change my mind once I actually play them.

Uncharted 3 could also be a contender. I must admit, although I have never played any of the Uncharted games, all the praise I have heard about them have gotten me to seriously consider getting a PS3.

If Modern Warfare 3 gets GOTY gaming is officially DEAD...

I agree about Modern Warfare 3; and I've noticed a lot of people suggesting Portal 2 should win. While it may bedeserving, it won't.

I hope anything BUT Skyrim gets it.

Hands down it's going to be L.A. Noire, not one of those sequels.It was fantastic, completely blew the door to voice-acting away in favor of bona fide acting, and even more important, a fresh, non-retread.
