I'm thinking Skyrim. Each time they show the game it looks better. Fallout 3 was a massive improvement over Oblivion even though it was in one of the ugliest game worlds this generation. Now that they are going back to Elder Scrolls it should be awesome.

That's not the point. One of these games could very well win GOTY, and since none of them have been released, the votes are what you 'think' will win. You don't have to play them to anticipate which will be better than the other. so......you are basically asking "which game are you a fanboy of and will have a positive biased towards, regardless of how good the game is?" Well, that's pointless No that isn't what I said. You like to throw the word 'fanboy' around, but I don't remember mentioning that word. It's the same as pre-season power rankings in sports. It has nothing to do with being a fanboy or picking favorites, it's just about what people think will do well. There's a good chance a game that hasn't been released yet will win, and speculation never hurts.
I have never played Elder Scrolls, but it has been a long time since the last installment of this game, and a lot of people have been hungry for it. To all those saying Uncharted, there is a large number of people that don't own PS3s so I can't see it winning. If it was a relatively slow year I might give it a chance, but there is too much good stuff coming out.
It may be just because i'm a gears junkie, but i say Gears of War 3 takes it. New Storyline, New Characters, and new Weapons.....Just gets better and better. Don't see how it can be beat. Again, my opinion is biased.
Something that doesn't deserve it. At least that's how it worked out the last few years.
Here's hoping they break tradition and award it to something like Portal 2 which really deserves it, but since it was released so early in the year will probably not even be considered.
