I told my brother the two are similar so hopefully he will watch an episode or three of MLP now because he loves Azumanga Daioh :)

It's an alright show, but I only find one of the storylines in any given episode to be funny most of the time, so the rest of the show is kind of a chore to sit through

I usually find Cam and Mitchell pretty entertaining, though, so I'll watch it if my parents are watching it.
