well, every one has an opinion about the game, yours is respectful as well but i think that you were disappointed in one point of the game and that affected your view entirely...just a guess!

I've known irish for almost a year now. He and I have our agreements and disagreements. I will finish XIII-2 sometime in the future

do whatever your heart desires my friend! make sure you don't get discouraged by anyone though...sadly people don't "like" xiii-2 so much!

I was told to take my time with XIII-2. So I am taking my time. I am beating the AC games before I even touch XIII-2. Only because I have to start all over again and I was pretty far in the game.

AC games.... Brotherhood was a letdown and Revelations had a good ending and all but they got boring.

The only one I thoroughly enjoyed alot was AC2. That game was great. So great I made myself get the platinum :P

I kinda liked it too :). I liked the music, the graphics, the enemies, summons etc.. I just didnt like the story too much :(

the story would get confusing some times, i'd agree! but i guess it was because the game was too long? i have an XBOX 360 and the game was three discs! schoolboy1994

I haven't even played the second game yet :P

But I did like the demo. 

....so I hope that they can at least find someone who will write in a similar style.Xx_Kares_xX

i liked XIII's music better than XIII-2's. it was more "final fantasy-like"!schoolboy1994

I  haven't played XIII-2 yet, so I can't really give an opinion on that, but I didn't think the music in XIII was too bad... I mean... it was nowhere near Uematsu's level of greatness, but then again neither is Hitoshi Sakimoto's music from the tactics games or Final Fantasy XII. Yes Sakimoto's music is extremely fitting to Ivalice, and I couldn't picture an Ivalice game without his music, but all of his stuff REALLY ran together after a while. he composes in a very... I don't want to say 'repetitive' style but his music hardly ever changes from game to game, let alone from track to track. His style is very Formulaic.. that is the word I was looking for, at least that's how it all comes off to me.

Actually now that I think about it, I think all I can really say about FFXIII is that the music was unmemorable... really the only songs I can even think of the tune too off the top of my head are the battle theme (for obvious reasons, considering how many times you have to listen too it x.x) and the weird, vocalized chocobo song... which I still can't decide if I loved it or hated it. I think it was nice the first time for novelties sake.. but after that it was kind of a mockery of the original tune. I will admit that I disliked the lack of the Final Fantasy Theme, the Prelude, or even the freaking fanfare being ANYWHERE in the game... I guess it was just another way that the company was trying to show it wasn't meant to be a true Final Fantasy game.

yes but i think the music was suitable for the game. maybe,as you said, it wasn't a true final fantasy game but the music chosen for different scenes and parts where just right i would say! the battle songs where encouraging, the cut-scene themes never ceased to thrill...c'mon, it wasn't bad now was it?
