Interesting History... did not think really that there would be another Dynasty Warriors related rival Union, Dynasty Warriors Alliance. But I wonder how accurate this will be from DWU's point of view... forget it, winners get to (re)write their own history!:)

But seriously, History is important as it serves us as a reminder of mistakes and horrible events in the past that we should not repeat.

Well if you really want to know more about it, why don't you just look for it yourself? The threads are most in their places with their original posts.

Easier said than done. The Rebellions were not confined to a single thread. They took place across the union and in multiple threads; and there were more than one Yellow Text Rebellions. Probably the best places to look are the threads with the most posts. But like DPQ said, no bumping.

I added a list (with links) to memorable threads in DWU History. Unfortunately so many have been deleted and moved over time that it's hard to find some of the good stuff.

I feel like doing alot of facepalming when I see my posts in there :P

I'm thinking of ways to divide the DWU Emperors into "Dynasties" for better organization and a sense of passing time.

I'm leaning towards using the Egyptian system of having a OLD KINGDOM, MIDDLE KINGDOM, NEW KINGDOM system.

How to divide it? I'm not yet sure. All the old schoolers have been emperor, so unless they get another reign, the noobs will rule.

We must consider this when we right our history. If, for example, Harpey became Empress, she would most likely be lumped in with the rest of the emperors because she has been around. If JeffHardy became emperor, it would be major, because he has no knowledge of the old days. Get it? There is a new generation here, which would need to be separate from the veterans.

Of course, my own reign does not fit neatly into the histories. In the past, post quality was what the union was all about, and efforts to bring in "spammy noobs" were rejected. I however see that new blood and a new start is what was needed, because the union was almost effectively destroyed by The Great Upheaval.

So division of the emperors into time periods or whatnot, is my goal.

If JeffHardy became emperor, it would be major,because he has no knowledge of the old days

All you really need to do is read the history to realize that few, if any, of the Emperors could be considered "wise."

i check the forums often. i've seen tiduragli on my game, but no one else from here really plays as far as i know. so they aren't all over there. i've gotten a few PMs from mits and a post from SirDemi.

i'm guessing there is either a great new game out that no one's talking about but everyone's playing (perhaps a new Pokemon game??) or it's starting to warm up being March and people are getting out more.  

Is this a temporary thing? Or is DWU no longer worth visiting? We must do something.harden007
