what are your reasons for posting here at Gamespot? my reason is, i was banned at another gaming site, Gamefaqs, and i i was a member here already, i just didn't post the much at all, after i was banned there,i decided why not post here. since then i have made some friends and i am a Leader in 2 Unions and an Officer in this Union and a couple of other Unions. i am glad i still post here and my next goal is 20K posts next year.

I came here when I found out GS didn't have those lame auto locks on topics like GF does. that was all the reason I needed fastesttruck
that is why i don't post a GF much.

I used GameSpot to read reviews and about games generally. Many years ago there was this brilliant game called "Fast and the Furious" for PS2. I once clicked the "Forum" tab of the game and discovered a topic made by a developer. I was amazed by such a feature so I registered, and posted in the topic about how awesome the dev was. He told about the game and I got "stuck" on the forums. I realized all games had boards (they are shared with GameFaqs btw.) and started posting. Then about a year ago I realized this place has general forums (OT). I got hooked to them. Now here I am discovering new places like Unions, and Lounges and what not.
So ultimately, I'm here cause of a Namco Bandai developer.

same with me except i came here because when i was a kid i always used this site to make my christmas list(i still use it for that) and i was doing that for every christmas and after awhile i said this site is cool ill make a account and now i love its great to waste time with
Hi :), i post at gamespot since it is the game site i use the most, i have used the site since the late 90's. i spend time on other gaming sites as well, but gamespot has become the place for me to post in forums as well as checking out other peoples posts and the games they post about ofcause. the games is the main reason for me to post in here.
I have actually been coming to GS for years, but I got tired of watching discussions and arguments and not being able to comment. I can't tell you how many coos I saw.

not me, and just think, your posting on Gamespot git you an Officer's position at my Union. both you and NFS.
I just like it. Many of the people from Off the Books I've known for years and talk to them on myspace, facebook, last.fm, AIM, etc. too so it kinda just makes sense to stay around. Most of the people I've come to know from Off-Topic have moved on, though I still talk to a few of them on AIM or facebook every now and then... or just drop by systemwars2.
I just got addicted to posting here. Not addicted like I can't stop, but I like it here so that's why I keep returning. Back when I started to post... I don't know much about how it started but I guess I found a union that I liked and posted in it.
Originally, I came here to talk about videogames...somewhere around 2004 I got really engulfed in the community, and stopped caring about games so much....really, the only reason why I stay here is because a group of people I've been posting with for years still post here in the Lounge...and Off The Books is where I get to talk about music, and hear all of the new things going on in hip hop...plus there's a community there that I've been posting with for years.
