Please do not let it suck, and Disney, do the right thing and put the trilogy as it originally was on Blu Rayvalereth85I hope they let them do their own thing like they do with Marvel, they own Marvel and yet Marvel movies are now better than ever.
Agreed with the original trilogy thing though I got them on my hard drive.Â
Imo Disney has become real nasty and tyrannical lately, maybe not entirely, but at least in some ways/some aspects. And that is the definition of baaaad. Since Disney's a powerful enough company to like, do whatever the hell they want. Toph_Girl250Best Disney movies out nowadays are Marvel movies, so...
While it seems like any Disney animated movies that aren't Marvel these days automatically also get owned by Pixar.Toph_Girl250Fun fact: The Avengers is the highest grossing Marvel and Disney movie of all time in 3rd place behind Titanic and Avatar. Going by reviews it's also one of the best Marvel and Disney movies.
Disney wants Star Wars to get high gross in the box office just like Marvel movies so that's one of the reasons they bought them.Â
I hope they let them do their own thing like they do with Marvel, they own Marvel and yet Marvel movies are now better than ever.[QUOTE="valereth85"]Please do not let it suck, and Disney, do the right thing and put the trilogy as it originally was on Blu Raymitu123

I want to get a Laserdisc player because it has the best looking versions of the original trilogy before Lucas started messing with themI smell Disney being greedy with that, they want to rake in as much money as possible, and boy, as if they didn't have enough money already as it is... :PToph_Girl250Oh we know that is going to happen. They want to make a new Star Wars movie EVERY YEAR. They are going to put Star Wars characters on EVERYTHING just like they do with their own characters. Thati s what Disney does, and Star Wars has been a money making machine for more than 30 years
[QUOTE="Toph_Girl250"]I smell Disney being greedy with that, they want to rake in as much money as possible, and boy, as if they didn't have enough money already as it is... :Pmitu123They also want quality and Marvel has done that for them. They picked a good director. I mean, if you want to get down to it, the story and script for Star Trek was not that strong. JJ Abrams got A LOT out of it, though. He made something memorable with it.

The spin offs surely won't get as much hype as the main ones.

When he started adding in scenes to the movies and editing other scenes to be stupid. Thing like Greedo shooting first and Hayden Christhensen being in place of the original Darth Vader in the final scenes of the last film.[QUOTE="mitu123"][QUOTE="Toph_Girl250"]I smell Disney being greedy with that, they want to rake in as much money as possible, and boy, as if they didn't have enough money already as it is... :Pvalereth85They also want quality and Marvel has done that for them. They picked a good director. And since he's directing Episode 7 I even have more faith in the movie.

[QUOTE="Toph_Girl250"]I say Star Wars > Star Trek. :Pmitu123In games, yes. Lore, yes. Movies, well, that's a mixed bag though I favor Episodes 4-6 to most Star Trek movies.the Original Trilogy FTW!

Just pretend that never happened

I hate it too. I hate it so very muchÂ
I know. Isn't it awesome?!Â
I say Star Wars > Star Trek. :PToph_Girl250While I agree, I am not going to throw any insults Star Trek's way. You know why? Because Star Trek is still pretty damned good. I have 2 of the 3 seasons of the original series, and I enjoy watching them quite a  bit.
I might get into Star Wars and Star Trek more once I actually start watching them.Toph_Girl250Stick to the original trilogy and not the newer ones. That will spare you the wooden acting, the bad dialog and the painful scenes. The plot holes. Teh overuse of CGI. All of it. Just....ugh...there is so much wrong with the 3 new movies.
[QUOTE="ShadowofSonic"][QUOTE="Toph_Girl250"]I smell Disney being greedy with thatmitu123
Me too.
And yet in return this allows for better products in this case, and besides it can't be any worse than the prequels. That's true. :P
[QUOTE="Toph_Girl250"]So Star Wars is a trilogy just like Back to the Future eh? Interesting. :P valereth85Wait...what?Why are you confused? Like seriously... Star Wars and Back to The Future are both movies that became Trilogies.
