i do know how to play it, but i play it on the DS cause i dont wanna spend money on the cards, at least in the videogame, all the cards are in there for me to use, and i can play against other ppl online (and get crushed, lol)
 The only card game I play is Magic the Gathering.Â

I play that aswell. I went to a local tournament yesterday and went 2-2. (i won a free pack of cards for getting 2 wins) Could have gone 3-1 had I side boarded some pyroclasims. =x (3 wins gets you two free packs of cards) For winning my very first match I got a $10 card for free.
Back in like 5th grade that was the craze. :lol: Everyone in my school played that back in those days, although back then the best card was that dragon that could transform to a 3 headed dragon.

Nope, I actually came to learnt that such game existed from here. One day there was a thread that asked users what card games you like? I replied poker, rummy and solitaire. Bunch of users appeared saying Yu-Gi-Oh. Thats when I googled and found out that such game existed :lol:

I didn't show my ignorance :lol: I never liked some games even as a kid. I remeber first time Pokemon cards came up and people went crazy. I bought a deck to, though never played it. It maybe lost somewhere now :lol:

I think I traded a couple of cards but then I just got bored of it too. I guess they were supposed to be played like regular trump cards.

Oh man I forgot how expensive the game was lol. Some of those cards back in the day were worth so much money. I wish I could go back in time and sell my entire deck when it was worth some money.

Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and 3 are needed to form Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. For it's time, it was the most powerful monster in the game, but there's plenty of cards that can destroy it easily nowadays.

if you think thats bad, just wait til you have to learn how to synchro summon using the 5Ds cards
What's synchro summon? I played back when the game was much more simple and the best card in the game was the white dragon card.
thats what i asked until i played the newer DS game that used those new rules, apparently you need these monsters called "tuner" monters in combination with another monster to combine them to a new powerful monster that you get from a completely separate deck, its like the fusion technique but a little bit more complicated
Synchro Summon is done with at least 1 "Tuner" monster and depending on the monster you wish to summon, a number of Non-Tuner monsters (so anything you would see back in the day could work. To summon a Synchro Monster, the level of the monsters being sacrificed must be on the field and must be equal in level total to the monster you want to summon. So a Level 8 Synchro Monster must be summoned with monsters totalling 8 stars.
