Hey everyone, it's good to be here. I'm 32 and live in St. Louis Missouri. I've been playing games since the age of six. First arcade games where Star Wars (sitting in that cabinet was like flying a X-Wing), Sinestar ("Beware I live, Run Coward, Run!), SpyHunter (Tony Gunn theme running in my head now, lol). First home system Atari 2600.  Currently I own a PS2 and a PSP and I'm waiting for God Of War 2 to be released.

In closing it's great to be hear and it's really good that I found this union.

My name is Roger.  I'm 40 and live close to Orlando, FL.  Been through many games and systems throughout the years.  On the PC I'm currently playing Oblivion.  I said goodbye to World Of Warcraft late last year (raid schedules, guild drama, repetitive gameplay, etc. got to be too much).  I'm also enjoying the heck out of my new XBOX 360.  Unfortunately, so does my wife, which makes it tougher to get some good game play time in lately.  Sigh.

My name, O_H_G, is short for 'old-head gamer'. I'm 35, married with four kids, and have been gaming since my parents bought themselves an Atari VCS/2600 in 1977, so I'm coming up on 30 years in gaming! Bizarre, especially when I see my KIDS sitting there with a DS or controller in their hands...

My name is chris, i'm 33 and am in the military. I have been gaming for 25+ years. Believe it or not my first console was pong. A paddle with a wheel and a button.I recently dropped a bundle onan XPS PC. (My wife was thrilled). But it was faster and cheaper than the Ailenware withthe same stuff. I get tired of lame conversations that kids have on gaming. I hope this union is for me. :D

I found this union o ngoogle while trying to find a site for older gamers. Many sites cater to adults who play daily, but with work and family that's not a possibility for me. And many adult gaming sites have stuff on them I wouldn't want my 10yr old son seeing over my shoulder.

I'm a big Gamespot fan and have been a member for many years (somehow my join date got reset : P ) I enjoy this site and have canceled my gaming mags since I get most of my info here. Like most of you I started with Pong and Atari and now game on the 360, and still do some PC gaming on BF2 or Starcraft / WC3. My Xfire name is also Greylock3491.

Hi, my name is Denny, i'm 31. Been gaming with my PC eversince Romance of three kingdoms 2 (forgot the year). I mainly play PC games, but sometimes when i hangout with my buddies, we sometimes still playing PS2 / PS3 just for fun. Currently i'm playing "Medieval 2 : Total War" & i'm still waiting for my Medieval 2 : Total War Kingdoms". I've usually stick to the strategy games, RPG games, but when i'm a bit bored from the current game i play or need to let off some steam, i play hack n' slash games such as Dynasty Warriors ,etc :twisted:.

I just turned 22 and had my first child 2 months ago. umm... I never know what to say on these things. I live in The Mile High City (you know Denver)

I'm really into RPGs (although I must admit I never have the patience or willpower to finish one because I always end up buying another game or getting a game I really wanted to try from GameFly.)

Lately my addictions are Tiger Woods 08 on the Wii, and of course Halo 3, BioShock, and Forza 2 on my 360.

If you're on XBL my gamertag is biomimetic and I'd love to get some friends to play online.

I've got Two Worlds, Oblivion, Forza 2, BioShock, Halo 3, and a bunch more. I seriously get a new game or 3 every week, + GameFly. So if you've got it let me know. Add me to your XBL and we'll chat. I also have to admit I'm addicted to the new chatpad.

I have 2 daughters 21 & 24....they are mostly moved out :P , but you know how that goes.

Hello, all! I just joined; I am Renee, in my 30's and still happily gaming. I started playing my cousin's Atari, then got my own NES (Dragon Warrior got me hooked for life!) and eventually a Sega Genesis. Right now we have a GameCube and a PS2, but mostly I prefer to play remakes of old classics on my DS. Right now I'm playing Shining Force: Ressurection of the Dark Dragon, but I also love the Dragon Warrior/Quest and Final Fantasy games, as well as some of the new RPGs (Magical Starsign, Tao's Adventure). I also play sim-type games and puzzle/board/card games, and of course classics like Mario and Sonic.

When I'm not gaming, I spent time with my husband and kids (all gamers) and my four cats (who don't game, but like to sit on the DS while I'm trying to play). I'm also into photography and enjoy messing around on my Mac and designing web sites, and keeping saltwater tanks. And... that's about all I can think of.

I'm happy to find this union; it's good to meet other gamers who have decent spelling and don't think it's weird that someone over 20 actually still plays video games! :)

I am forty something, and play World of Warcraft - daily! My teens got me the game, and I guess, I am hooked! Wish there were more adults playing this silly game, or better said perhaps, I wish I knew where you all were!

Sometimes I will mess with Guild Wars, or Halo3, but with much less frequency than my WoW time.

IF there are mature adults out there playing WoW - do tell! Have met a few, and we are coming together in one place, in hopes of beating the game together!

Hey guys, I'm 17 years old, male, and been around games for along time. First started gaming when I was around 5 with the Genesis with games like Sonic 2 and Gunstar Heroes. I mostly go on PC and 360, but I sometimes play on my DS. Looking forward to doing alot of posting. :P

Well, I'm 27 years old and have been into video games ever since I saw my best friends playing Mario Brothers through the window when I was about 6 or 7 years old. Since then, I've had an NES, GB, GBA SP, Gamecube, PS2, Dreamcast and a xbox, but have traded or sold or given away those systems and am left with a rockin' PC (capable of playing Crysis on fairly high settings so that's awesome), a Wii, a Nintendo DS Lite and a xbox 360. When I'm not at work, cleaning or spending time with my wife, I'm most likely playing Flight Simulator 2004 on the PC, Mario Galaxy on the Wii, Bioshock on the 360 or Castlevania on the Nintendo DS. I'm fortunate that my wife is into gaming as well. I introduced her to the Gamecube and she REALLY took to the Harvest Moon games. She once had a stint of 7 hours just farming and stuff...pretty crazy. She's really into the Brain training games on the DS though. We just got hitched a couple months ago and are enjoying our time together so I'm pretty sure we'll be gaming well into the future.

I am a vet, a construction manager, an American Biker, an avid (maybe not talented) gamer and I am 52 years old.

Belong to a few unions, but sometimes would like to converse with gamers a little closer to my own age. While I learn from and enjoy the forums with the younger gamers, I do get exasperated with the one word responses to actual inquiries.

Thought about starting a union called "Fan-Grans the Grey Gamers" (I know, stupid play on Fan Boys), but don't know enough older gamers to invite. Did a search and found this Union for the adult gamer, very pleased it is open enrollment.

I am into Action-Adventure, Action-RPG's, First & Third Person Shooters, Flight & Driving Sims. I have a collection of over 220 games on N64 (yeah, still have it and it still works) PS2, PC, PS3 & X Box 360. My gamertags are as follows:

Not very good on line, but I do play some, gives the others someone to kill. HA. My avid games are the Battlefield Games, ME2, Fable 2 & 3, Red Dead Redemption and a few others. Just started Crysis 2, and have KZ3 but haven't started it yet.

This thread looks a bit dated, I hope there is still some activity here, as I look forward to meeting a few of you.

I just read back through all the introduction thread and it made me feel good to see some fairly lengthy intros. This is one main reason I wanted to join an adult union, people convey & expound and don't write one incorrectly structured sentence to communicate. Man, I sure hope someone visits this site.

Also, FYI for any of you that may visit, I will be starting to track some of you, especially the over 35 crowd just to see who and who isn't still active.

I have been a gamespot member since 2007, but only got real active since the end of 2009, I visit almost every day and would really like to comm with adults.

@Bear - I'm like British Rail, slow, but turn up in the end...

For those who don´t know me, I´m Gun Chimp - a Brit who left the rain and, well, rain of the UK to follow the dream of a life in "sunny" Spain.  Studied journalism so ironically now work in a Spanish construction company - translating everything into English and helping them to mount an online presence in English...

I have an XBOX 360 for my sins, and love all types of game, leaning favourably to the FPS genre and especially Battlefield in all its shapes and forms.  However, the inner student has me also searching for the most "bang" for my bucks, so I also delve into the occassional role or open-world games like Fallout 3, Grand Theft Auto IV (with expansions) and I´m also becoming scarily tempted by the Fable and Mass Effect Series.

When I´m not gaming, I´m either in the cinema (aaaaaaair con, sweeeeet, cold, aaaaaair con!!) or listening to all things Heavy Metal / Motown / Brit rock!
