You Ever Delved Into The Costume Pack Scene?

I have never bought any costumes for any game...and i love Street Fighter 4...but they just feel like a waste of money....now with that being said, this DOA pack looks great >.<' gonna get Last Round on PS3 and see if they will finally managed to sell me a costume pack.

Gonna have to warn you though. The Ps3 and 360 versions don't offer the tearing/ripping feature. The costume pack is available, but the effects aren't.

I know. It's stupid.

Does the PC have the ripping and the tearing?

I checked the Steam page, and I can't even find the Senran Kagura costume pack.

It's something that only the Senran Kagura costumes allow. First time they did this, I believe. I can see it becoming a proper feature in the next DOA.

Nah, I don't want blood myself. I'd turn off bruising and swelling. I don't even have dirt on. Just looks.... well, dirty.

It's weird how they have the whole father-daughter thing going on now. I don't remember many characters from previous MK games where there was the father and daughter in the roster.

I never had a problem with the violence in MK. It's good, but seeing Jax pull off a fatality against his daughter weirds me out. Smashes her arms in, opens up her face, and then puts out his cigar on her tongue.

If that was Raiden or whatever, I would've laughed. But seeing him do that to his daughter... I don't know. It irks me a little bit.

Don't think I ever payed for one ;p

It's funny though. For example, if you put Cassie up against Cassie, it'll go something like

Cassie 1: Your face looks stupid
Cassie 2: You just insulted yourself

At least NetherRealms can have a good laugh with that.

Uhm.. I don't know. It's kinda there. I know Akira was good with that. He hits so damn hard, so him staggering you was always bad news.

Honestly, it's only normal you would bring up Oldboy though.

I don't buy em , get some of em free as unlockables in game or free with complete editions of games. Say i buy Dead Rising 3 on PC, i'm getting all the bonus DLC costumes along with the game without having to buy em separately :)

Impulse buy remember..... and I don t regret it..... the only character you need to use stagger escapes on is Rachel....... remember she can chain three Sit Down Stuns into a Critical Busrt........ this will be hell for players who can't stagger escape..... players such as yours truly. :(

Oh yup. Yeah, I'm not great at it either. But that Rachel for you. She doesn't mess around.

I can handle her.... shes a hard hitting brawler but shes very managable because she doesn't have Mila's speed.....

Its the VF characters..... they don't hit hard but they are pretty fast..... and deceptive..... their altetnate stances provide a variety of mix ups..... especially Pai Chan.

also I just recently found out Lisa has two Critical Burst moves...... couple that with her ability to turn backward or foward after a few of her kicks and it makes it tricky trying to counter which critical burst she will use......

She also has environmental advantages...... Lisa is hella scary in the hands of a skilled player.

Oh man, I've been playing with Lisa lately. She is pretty crazy. I want to get better with her, because she's a lot of fun.

Weird how she's called La Mariposa in the character screen though.

Go through her Costumes...... the name should change depending on which costume you choose..... the one's with Masks are La Mariposa....the ones with her Face unobstructed should change the name to Lisa......

They also affect her intros and victory poses....... surely you must have noticed this right ?

I always play with her mask off. Never noticed it.

I think only three of her outfits actually have Masks..... the first two and the one yellow festive looking one...... oh and the one in the picture you put up..... theres an alternate version with a mask.

Yeah, it's part of the hairstyles. Same with her festive/wrestling ones.

Hairstyles? A window should just pop up when you pick the character. In there you can adjust a few other things.

Seems like a weird thing to leave out of last gen versions. It's not exactly a big resource hog, having this.

Oh no it wasn't left out..... you can still alter the hairstyles and stuff but there just wasn't a menu for it...... you had to use secret inputs when choosing a character

Aaaah. I guess they realized how weird and contrived that was, and just went ahead and put in a proper alteration screen.
