You Ever Delved Into The Costume Pack Scene?

Yeah, although they've yet to do that. There's some really good costumes already in there, and then there's of course the unlockable ones. It's not that bad, but paying 90 for a season pass... I don't know. I find that a bit much.

Yeah, I guess Last Round is kinda that. A lot of stuff that wasn't in the initial product, but then there's a 90 dollar season pass, so that goes out of the window.

I'l just try to import a point card...... I can get one from GB but I can't convert my account again for a while and I'm not sure what content is available in the US but not in Europe..... It took Microsoft several years just to get Trine 2 up on XBLA In Britain....

i bought the adventurers Jacket for Risen 3 yesterday for the improved stats cos i was getting my Backside kicked, the i realize i was getting my backside kicked because i was just spamming the sword button and you have to actually hold each strike for half a second, bummer.

I have bought costume packs in the past if i see one and i think my Character will look Badass and i do like unlockable extra costumes in games, i prefer to Earn them than Buy them because that really does add longevity to a game, especially as i love to unlock absolutely everything i can in a game.

I did buy the whole dawnguard expansion pack just so i could get the heavy Dawnguard Armour because despite having lower stats than both daidrec and Ebony armor it just looks so cool.

Never for a game to my recollection, however I did spend some money on my female Home avatar to make her look as alluring as possible, and then I got gang-raped in the movie theater. Never went back to Home ever since.

Lol no. Costumes, if anything, should be free. If you make them unlockables, it would even be a fun addition to the game. I love unlocking costumes and things in games. Buying them would give me zero joy.

The ones that do make them unlockable put them behind what I like to call a Grind Wall..... its kinda like a Pay Wall only except it doesn't want your money...... it wants a butt load of your time doing some tedious repetitive activity....... ofcourse the developers will put in the option to allow you to buy them instead....... thats how they get'ya. ;)

If free sure but I did go on a... Costume Quest... and it was pretty fun. :P

Sure... Unless the costume is from something else that I like, then usually I avoid them (save my money for character packs)

Some developers do that, yes, but not all. The "grind wall" is very differnet from game to game. Just to name an example, lots of Nintendo games do unlockables perfectly.

If they intend to sell their should-be-free content, of course they're going to make a bigger grind wall to make people pay for it. These guys are called assholes. But the biggest assholes are the ones who don't even have a grind wall to unlock stuff, forcing you to pay extra for a game, and if you don't you're stuck with an unfinished game.

Its a whole lot more than "some" I can assure you of that..... not many of them will offer the option to pay for a shortcut but many will ask you to grind...... ALOT of them will ask you to do or collect X number of things..... some don't even care if you succeed the ask you to attempt to do X Number of things to get your reward.

Its been along time since I played a game hid its reward behind a legitimate challenge.....Funny Enough I just solved a puzzle last night in Revelations 2 and got a new weapon...... very few games do this anymore

I might buy the Street Fighter Costumes too when they go on sale again.

The only thing I hate about DLC skins is that they are stupidly over priced. They need to go the way of how DOTA or League do it where costume skins can go as low as $.07

:/ I've spent a ridiculous amount of money on extra costumes for DOA girls since DOA Vanilla. I've probably spent upwards of $200 on extra costume packs alone not to talk of buying multiple versions of the game (DOA5U, DOA5LR (PS4), DOA5LR (PC) ). I know I'm getting milked by TN but I can't help it especially when the girls look this good...

I run into the same problem in other fighting games like SoulCalibur, Street Fighter, etc. I'm a costume addict.

On top of the already existing Dirt and Sweat effects....... its a very technically impressive game when you think about it. :)

I do like the sweat/wet effects, but I have the dirt effects turned off :o

Shes a slippery one that Lisa...... lots of deceptive aerial and ground attacks and sneaky throws..... noobs love her.... not as easy to pull off a combo compaired to alpha but the variety in her moves do make them a pain in the ass to counter or punish...... I have a friend who uses her just to tick me off.

And I guess that doesn't hurt. I've been maining Rachel, actually. I like her power.

I only use a few characters in Street Fighter U... so I did buy a few alt costumes for my mains.

I also shamefully bought quite a few costumes for FF 13-2... that was a splendid game.

LoL.... its just a string with some jewellery on it.... have you noticed Tecmo is Really Really Really Brazen with Lisa's outfits compared to everybody else ? Not that I'm complaining ;)

I also used Rachel for a while.... shes quite easy and she's the only character I know that can chain two Sit Down Stuns in a row..... which as you know is kind of a big deal because you can't use the Hold Mechacnic on a sit down stun...... If I had to be honest..... its kinda Broken.

You're right. There's no other character with a costume as revealing as her's.

i am all about dat fashion but i use what's available in the game or apply skin mods if on pc. not into buying costumes for real dollars.

I love the Grappling Girls.... very hands on. :)

I use to be big fan of evasive characters but I rarely use Ayane or Alpha...... even though I enjoy myself when I do...... its like this game brought me outside of my comfort zone and I'm loving every moment of it. ;)

i almost bought costume pack for doa5 but added up all the cost of it all and realized i could have bought real life women and clothes for less
