So let me get this straight
-Least expensive with strongest library= lowest sales
-middle ground price with middle ground library= second place sales
-highest price point with weakest library= phenomenal sales
Library? That's a very specific word and unfortunately your comparison isn't accurate. Actually, the PS4 has a stronger library than the Xbone (188 games vs. 124 games)
Retail/Physical the PS4 has 84 titles to 79 Xbone games. PS4 library leads.
Digital the PS4 has a whopping 144 titles to Xbone's 45 titles. PS4 library leads.

Just because an opposing fanbase screams "no games!" over and over does not mean what they are claiming is true. I own both and I'm not thrilled with either the PS4 or Xbone, BUT there is a pretty significant difference in libraries.
If you posted something about exclusives, I would agree the Xbone has a slight lead in exclusives as I own the Xbone, BUT it's a very small lead. It's certainly not worth dancing over as both machines have a lot of work to do in the exclusives dept as they are very weak. Comparing both is like watching two snails race and arguing which one is faster. 2015 should be a decisive year for both. However, you didn't say exclusives, you specifically called to the libraries.
I would agree the Wii U has had a much better year, but not as good a year that I would declare 2014 as a good year. It was just a decent year for my Wii U and sadly that makes it a great year by comparison to the sad, sad PS4/Xbone.
