Xbox One has been outselling PS4 for 4 weeks running

What does Sony's creditors have anything to do with the PS3 outselling the Xbox 360? What does Sony not making a profit on PSN have to do with The PS3 outselling the Xbox 360?

Brand Name, Blu-Ray, and "Luxury features" were the reasons why the PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 In their respective years, period. These are 3 things again, Microsofts Xbox One has no advtange of, excluding the luxury features part.

It has nothing to do with exclusives when they only make up 8% of the the games industry, multiplats are all that matter to the mass majority of system buyers.

It has nothing to do with Kinect, an add on that is esstinaly uses in comparison to devices and methods that do the same job, more seamlessly.

Price, Brand Name, Better Multiplats, and PSN's (free games).

These are all the factors in why the PS4 beats and will continue to beat the Xbox One in sales for the distant future.

The Xbox One at 400 still wouldn't compete well enough it's 50 % weaker.

At 349 or below the Xbox One would have a legitimate chance at competing against the PS4.

Dont forget, most of the UK sales bumps recently have been due to not just a price cut, but the fact the TitanFall bundle has been at that same reduced price. In essence, they have been handing out TitanFall for free.

MS is way behind right now, and is doing everything they can to keep Sony in sight before TitanFall releases on 360. TitanFall on 360 is the second most pre-ordered game on Amazon right now. That's a lot of people who aren't willing to spend $450-500 on a console for TitanFall.

Meanwhile, Sony hasn't been able to keep units on the shelf or the gap would be larger. That 70% bump for Sony is just because they actually got some stock in. They think it will be summer before they start to catch up.

@Shewgenja: I work at a Canadian retailer. We have 50 Xbox Ones sitting here right now. We have had them all month. Sold maybe 10 this month. Meanwhile every day I turn people away asking for ps4. We haven't had a ps4 shipment in almost a month now. Sony needs to get off their asses and start producing these things. People will not wait forever.

Well if they're outselling the PS4 in UK I have no doubt they are also outselling it in the US since it was previously beating the PS4 last year.

And since the PS4 flopped in Japan we can assume it isn't selling well in other territories either.

It's due to Titan Fall's release. It will wear off soon and PS4 will be oustselling X1 again.

I'm sorry but there is no way MS will drop the price 350. And if Titanfall was really an X1 exclusive (not on PC or 360) it would have helped the console significantly more.

IT really does. The countries Ms hasnt released in didnt provide hardly any support for the 360.............but all of the suddenly theye're going to for the one? TBH those countries matter little to the overall sales of either console but favor Sony more.

As I suspected, I also don't expect this to stop when titanfall has died down either, especially with the xbox exclusives coming. What does sony have coming? Second son obviously wasn't enough to compete.

Who cares about sales anymore? Both will sell enough to have very healthy generations fir there owners who don't won't have to worry about being shunned by third-party devs like the wii u.

PS4 has four worthwhile confirmed first party exclusives to Xbone's three.

Xbone has what, KSR? LOL. Sunset Overdrive? Seems a little too quirky and niche for the mainstream. Quantum Break is the only thing that can match the (manufactured) hype of Tituhfuhh and we haven't seen anything of that since December.

What are you talking about, it has more than that, halo, fable etc are more than enough to re-create hype and alot of sony fans we're annoyed at sunset being exclsuive, you're beginning to sound like a fanboy. Not to mention you didn't even say the names of the 4 sony has coming, 4 isn't alot, theres alot of more popular franchises launching eventually even gears 4 is being worked on.

The Halo game this year looks to be a rehash of a ten year old game, Fable is 2016, Gears 4 is 2016, RE7 was cooked up by an obscure German magazine six months ago. I look at the Xbone schedule for the rest of the year and I see a lot of tumbleweed - there's nothing to justify putting down an extra $100 for an Xbone until November at least.

By the way: Drive Club, MLB The Show, The Order and Infamous. One's out and there's nine months of the year left, that's plenty.

Yes and as I said infamous didn't have the same effect titanfall had on xbox 1. Also i was referring to fable legends, as for the RE7 rumour it is recent and looks to be true as Capcom have updated their resident evil page. Drive club and MLB are not enough to create hype like titanfall has infamous was the chance Sony had. Xbox one has the better exclusives lined up not just this year either.

Figured it was UK or states. They are Xbox's strongest territories. PS is still the world wide favorite, but good for MS I guess. I know I am really enjoying my X1 and after last weekend my brother wants one now.

Thats because more people have a PS4 of cause it sold more. Titanfall has doubled sales in the UK and increased them in US. I'm trying to say microsoft has alot of bigger names than titanfall being worked on and can recreate this success again.
