looooool he's trying to count Dreamcast.
A system that came out 3 years before Gamecube and was eventually shelved.
Dreamcast dropped out of the race. Gamecube came last.
IT IS KNOWN.
It all depends on what happens this gen. Who knows; Sony could just fall behind while Wii U steals first, or, the Wii U could possibly (but highly unlikely) be Ninty's last. By my prediction, 2nd place will be fought over by XB1 and Wii U. I'm afraid I just don't know the outcome.
80's and 90's youngsters were dumb too. We were dumb enough to buy the power glove and Superman 64.Is it me or does the "young" generation of gamers seem dumb?

More or less true but I was actually refering to here in System Wars.

Nintengodno will be last place in games as always and the wii eww will be last in games and sales like the gcnTheKingIAmThe Gamecube was neither last place in sales nor games, you imbecile.
That cracked me char!! Reading the OP is good for us.
Man dude, Wii was pretty last place in terms of Games last Gen. It's gonna be the same here except WiiU can't hide behind Sale Numbers this time.
3rd Place definitely.
Nintendo just doesn't have the manpower to lure 3rd party developers onto the WiiU bandwagon. It's simple as that. 3DS is literally they're sole bread winner in sustaining them alive in this complex 3-way battle. Garnering 3rd party support is one of the most important areas Nintendo needs to address and as of right now, they're doing practically or HAVE DONE nothing about it. Their WiiU Gamepad is still unclear to most major development houses and to put it strongly, a bit of a confusing peripheral...to both devs and casual gamers. Marketing is another problem, but like I said in an earlier post, Nintendo can market the hell out it, but most gamers simply won't care enough. And it's pretty much too late in the game, where PS4 and XB1 are gaining momentum in marketing hype.
Games, Games and more Games are the key. It's the reason why 3DS succeeded, from an early dead drought back in early 2011, to a massively successful handheld right now.
I consider this the first gen Nintendo doesn't make a console. I consider the Wii U to be current gen (same as 360/PS3) I don't go by release date along. Got to have the tech to go with it. Using that old outdated definition to determine what is next gen would mean I could release a console with the specs of an Atari 5200, but because I just released it, it is next gen.
I think you're pushing it with the Gamecube. Sure, technically the Dreamcast did worse than the Gamecube, but it wasn't in the game for long. For the large majority of the Gamecube's lifespan, it was competing with Sony and MS, and it lost to both of them,

Yo, this.
As to the OP: probably, but does anyone really care as long as they make great games?
