Where's the games Sony???

I keep hearing that the SeX has no first party games, we've heard it for weeks now and had numerous threads, and i thought its the PS5's turn, well where are Sony's i ask you???

Sony has announced 4 first party exclusive titles and no confirmed release dates.

You have the kiddie game in R & C, and we know cows won't be buying this as they make fun of sheep for playing kiddie games, and has a release date of "launch window" now asking what a "launch window" is, well its just like asking how long is a piece of string. I understand Sony making this game as they're trying to protect the kids, and give them something to play, but you're better off buying the kids Bugsnax, the true next gen kids game.

Then we move onto Spider Man MM, its dlc disguised as a game and will be sold at full price (there's a reason you're called cows) we even had a thread from a cow saying it would be good to have a short game while still paying full price lol. Its using assets from the OG game and again doesn't have a locked in release date.

Now lets look at GT 7, from the footage shown it looked identical to GT Sport, and we all know cows won't like bad looking games. Now it has a tentative release date of November 20, now considering it took Polyphony 4+ yrs to make a bare bones GT Sport, you're going to get an even more bare bones GT 7 with only a 3yr window to make this game, hopefully GS will wait a year or 2 to review this one so when more online content arrives they can score it higher because people don't crash into you on GT, and to make cows feel better about themselves :)

Now for Horizon Zero Dawn 2, a game that has again no release date or even any gameplay footage. Its touted for 2021, and that would be a stretch knowing the development cycle of Sony's devs. This will be another one of Sony's repetitive games, and fix the awful animations while the characters are in cutscenes talking, constantly talking.

Now lets move onto the announced games from Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Media Molecule, Bend, etc, etc, etc studios working on? well nothing it seems, so you're going to be waiting until 2024 at the earliest to see any games from these devs.

So when we look at it Sony's devs aren't really in a better situation than MS devs, its just that Sony will have a half arsed game game at launch, a kids game and possibly a bare bones racer.

So in the end you may only get a couple of first party games in the first 2yrs, but somehow that's a good thing? its the PS4 all over again, remember greatness awaits & awaits?

Now i hope some of you get some of the references in this thread, and i dedicate this thread to the living memory of phbz, may his username R.I.P

A kids game, dlc, and a bare bones racer, is hardly anything to write home about, and HZD2 doesn't have any gameplay and is 2022 at the earliest.

I already said launch window, WTF is a launch window? 6 months after the console releases, a year? and HZD2 doesn't have a release date, it has a year that it might release in, you're going to have to do better than this i'm afraid.

Besides what other have said you also have to take into account that Sony has had three major exclusives this year (FF7, TLOU2 and GoT).

I'm taking the "they have more to show" route... and by that I mean hopefully.. Nothing there to really get me too excited, but at least there are a lot of games that drop around launch that I'm interested in getting anyways. There almost has to be an ace or two up SONY's sleeve.. I'm just saying. Honestly, I wouldn't be the least but surprised to find out MS does as well.

I do know that a lot supposed leaks are saying SONY has a lot more to show soon and over the first year to year and a half with a lot of exclusives, exclusive content, and exclusive 3rd party games. Add that to the fact they said they wanted to go all in with online multiplayer this gen and they really haven't shown much on that aspect and it's hard to believe they don't have more to show.

As it stands right now though, yes, I do feel that lems/Xbox fans have every right to talk shit back. Neither launch lineup is looking great to say the least, and since they are both saying they have great launch lineups... well, there has to be more one would think.

Yeah Sony has goofed by having ND and SP making games so late into the PS4's life cycle that you won't see games from them for the PS5 until 2024 at the earliest.

FF7R was not made by a Sony first party dev so it has no place here.

So whats Sony's 2 biggest devs making for the PS5 right now in ND and SP?

C'mon now Sony isn't hiding some bombs to announce closer to launch lol. Sony has goofed by having 2 of its biggest devs finish games this year for the PS4 in ND & SP, so you won't see any games releasing from them for another 4yrs.

Sony will be paying up though as they will be purchasing as many timed exclusives it can until those devs i mentioned can scrape together a 3min non gameplay cinematic so cows call slobber all over and call GOTG lol.

You should ask this forum I asked people what game looked the most next gen and people picked Spiderman MM over the other 3 games from what we've seen so far and what we expect.

How do you know its DLC? Theres never been a DLC that left a system to go to a new one. This thing is anti-dlc its pro next generation. We dunno how long this sucker this is it could be longer than avengers or suicide squad and justice knights. We just don't know yet. You haven't played it either so why DLC right now you just we shouldn't judge it yet and you are.

But there is no games on xbox x-series x so this is an easy choice. Games > nothing. PS5 until xbox games show up imo.

Compared to previous launches both consoles are very poor during the launch Window.

There are some 3rd party games that might prop up the launch games scenario but there is no reason to buy either console unless your switching and have back catalog to play.

They will sell Ps5 based on momentum. Everyone knows Sony is the company that delivers the exclusives and MS can’t even get their one launch game out the door. I disagree that Sony needs that many heavy hitters at launch. Early adopters will buy the console regardless based on Sony’s proven track record.

Xbox One owners are welcome to switch to Playstation to play TLOU2 etc. For this important segment it is in practice a launch game.

If PS got even more games, and even better ones, you'd just come up with reasons as to why they wouldn't count.

No it will sell on the stupidity of cows loyalty, Sony has no heavy hitters. Why would anyone want to play TLOU2 when YouTube played it long before it released on the PS4 lol.
