OH NO, they might have to wait a little bit :o
Talk about making something out of nothing.

I'm sorry to go "off-topic", but your sig is hilariously nuts!:lol:even on a basic level microsoft will not be putting out a compatibility driver for the xbox one controller so that it can be used on a pc (initially).
http://wccftech.com/ps4-controller-support-pc-play-box-xbox-one/
so if you want a next gen controller your options are:
1) immideate gratification and get a ps4 controller
2) delay gratification and get the xbox one controller that still wont have advanced feature support like wireless or rumble pak
furthermore the article ive found also lists that the ps4 controller will later add more complex things like six axis support, analog triggers, and lightstrip at a later date down the line. meaning that microsoft will be playing catchup in their own backyard; a rather smooth play by sony and a rather foolish error by microsoft that will probably cost them valulable sales figures. way to go M$ your failing AGAIN!

[QUOTE="darkspineslayer"][QUOTE="ninjapirate2000"] So what does the other controllers run on? Magic? Pretty sure they also use batteries.XxR3m1xInHDn3DI think we both know he ment AA batteries, as opposed to on board rechargeable batteries included within the controller. He probably thinks that there's no such thing as rechargeable batteries. Anyway I'd sooner have a wired XBox One controller unless the DS4 is a lot better this time around and it has to be for me to put up with that awful analog placement
God. I can't stand it when cows claim their controller doesn't have a battery. It's just stupid, scientifically incorrect, ignorant.
I don't care if they're using battery as common parlance for "AA Dry cell" - that's still wrong.Â
Why would they?
It's just an Xbox 360 controller with the home button on the top instead of the middle. (and I honestly can't see anyone using anything else than a Xbox 360 controller.)
Microsoft is doing this because they're developing drivers that will allow the XBO control to be compatible with older games that natively support the 360 pad. The PS4 controller will likely never be natively supported by older games, and might not be natively supported by newer games either. Xbox owners will continue to get native support in most PC games whereas people using PS4 controllers will have the same functionality as a generic Logitech gamepad. I'd say it's worth the wait.
Only things i've heard about XB1 controller are negative anyway.
I will continue using my DS3 for the few games I use a controller for.
@kraken2109: From who? I've only heard positive things, especially with regards to the new triggers and their force feedback.
