The Steam Summer Sale (June 19)

It can be buggy but its soo deep. It seems simple on the surface but dig below the top soil and you'll discover a "city" builder that's actually worth playing. Plus the tutorial is about as dark as they come.

I've been going through and putting all my uniques up for sale and they've been going on occasion (I usually do the starting cost). It's crazy how people pay money for these cards.

Tested on Very High with SSAA and got an average of 20 fps

Crossfire 6950 results: 1920x1080, dx11, quality: very high, AF x16, PhysX disabled, Tesselation: off, SSAA:off, Motion blur: normal

• Total Frames: 9707, Total Time: 171.1332 sec

• Average Framerate: 56.76

• Max. Framerate: 147.28 (Frame: 7872)

• Min. Framerate: 9.05 (Frame: 1601)

I just bought the Mass Effect collection, broke down and had to.

What a huge difference between max and min framerate. I mean from 200+ all the way down to 1 FPS... wow

Seems like a shitty benchmark then cause those framerate variations are really all over the place lol :p

Never got round to playing Bioshock so I think i'll get all 3 for £6.79

Please vote for Ikaruga people, the game hasn't been on sale yet and I would love to check out the PC version.

Loved the gamecube version.

I got them on a sale too, at greenmangaming. They are amazing games, would definitely recommend them.

Just the Infinite DLC, that's not worth a lot of money to me. It was very short and didn't add much, but the main games (and minervas den) yeah those are awesome.

as soon as I saw Ikaruga was one of the options I immediately voted for that option. and dang it's less than $3 if it wins.

If it doesn't get chosen (because the other group has some neat games too) I hope it ends up as a daily deal or flash sale later on.

I had my eyes on The Walking Dead Season 2 and The Wolf Among Us, but I'm going to wait until they are complete before I buy them.

Got Steamworld Dig

Battlefront 2 without the multiplayer (LOL). The original Dark Souls (cheap game with cheap deaths). BeatHazard (Good music game), and BlockLand? (Dafuq)?

im really sick of games with block graphics.

What's up with all the copying going on lately:

Minecraft is popular -> lots of games with block graphics pop up

DayZ is popular -> lots of unfinished survival games pop up

Surgeon simulator is popular -> lots of 'wacky physics' 'simulator' games pop up

Not even mentioning all the moba clones out there...

Nothing interesting today.. :/

I find it hilarious that nobody likes today sales and these are the games I've been waiting for all sale long.

Yup, hundreds of them. All of them have no clue how to make a good game, they just want to make a lot of money so they copy what's popular.

This isn't just happening on PC. Smartphones get flooded with games like that too, look at all the flappy clones...

Oh, I like todays sales. Dishonored is one of my all time favourite games.

Just nothing worth purchasing for me today, or I already own it.

Looks like a good time to pick up some Rome 2 DLC.

Yeah today is pretty decent; civ 5, dishonered and lfd2. But most people with good taste already have these :p

Are the winners of the free games announced after the end of each day? Or are they waiting till the end of the sale for that.

They're never announced, they get the games and an email from valve within a day. However what is announced, is the games they won.

The winners get their games about an hour - 2 hours after that day is finished.

and you can see the games people have won already.

Some of them weren't notified until the next day.

But the games appear in their list, right ? Even if the e-mail is delayed.

What about Rome 2 DLC ?

Nope, even the games were delayed. It was on the third day I think.

I'm seriously thinking about getting Goat Simulator if it wins the community's choice. :D

I don't enjoy the more scripted campaigns. Might have got the pirates and raiders DLC if it had been on sale (already have the earlier stuff)

So wait wait wait. Valve updates their 'free games list' right away but doesn't actually inform the people that won right away... That's very lame.

To be honest the rules of this content are very vague.

I want to play the scripted campaigns. I'm very interested in the characters of that era...

But I still need to play more of the main campaign before I get an expansion. The only DLC I bought so far was the blood and gore, which is pretty fantastic as it makes the battles and fighting look more realistic.

@R4gn4r0k: I don't care what the haters say. Sure the AI can be crappy at times but I love Rome 2. Patches improved it immensely and its been a while since i played.

It only happened one time, though.

Yay, Rome 2 is on sale. Time to finally get the Blood & Gore dlc. Might as well pick up the Beasts of War one while I'm at it I guess, it's only 84 cent.

Don't normally like these type of dlc but it's dirt cheap so meh.

Played through Steamworld Dig on my 3DS but just picked it up again on Steam. Such a good game, easily worth the 2.50.

shall i buy dishonored goty edition or just the standard version? is the dlc worth it?
