Persona 5 delay incoming

This could go either way, really. It could be a crapshoot of a conference, or if they manage to pull those surprises it could be a top tier one.

Let's hope for the latter, shall we?

Honestly i'm skeptical, i think we'll be looking another solid and predictable conference like MS' was. I doubt we'll see any megatons.

Can you imagine a TLG/FF7/Shenmu trio? Greatest E3 conference ever? Obviously it's too good to be true. The universe won't let us have it.

I won't be surprised if none of the turn up and we're all crushingly dissapointed.

MAN just man that list it shows how amazing the Sony lineup is always so good and so diverse i cannot wait!

Good thing my daughter and baby mama are at her parents house so I got the whole house to myself.

But anyways looking forward to Sony's press conference and I'm sure Last Guardian will be there. That's Sony's ace card.

MS did great, so I'm excited to see what Sony brings. Should be a good show.

The expectations of the Sony conference are probably too high. It can't be as good as Microsoft, it HAS to be better or it will be considered a loss for them.

Where is all the FFVII talk coming from? I know they've been teasing an HD remake, but IMO XII seems much more likely.

Sony should announce they're making playing online free again to top MS's BC and modding E3 winning megatons.

As long as the show some Uncharted 4, I'm happy. My 2015 is locked up with 3rd party.

Gamewise i think Sony just needs to show more games than MS and they're going to have a better conference. They won't outshine Hololens with Morpheus though

I've been avoiding the PS4 but Persona 5, TLG, Uncharted 4 and the FF7 remake will sell it to me no doubt.

Persona 5 is definitely not that niche. Persona 4 Golden sold 750K on a niche platform.

Persona 4 sold over a million.

The days of this series being niche are long gone.

Just hope this conference is at least decent, all the previous conferences were awful.

Oh god. Just put it out quiet, and with apologies. In fact, put out the whole thing to the IGC at this point as a sorry.

Hyping up a partial game they announced forever ago isn't my idea of good publicity.

This will blow the roof off the conference, don't let the naysayers fool anyone. One of the most anticipated announcements in gaming history. The whole thing has gotten an almost mythical level of hype at this point. Which is why I'm still skeptical.

All I want for E3 is a NA release date....

I admittedly have low expectations.

I think at best we will see persona 5, MGS and BB dlc.

Agreed about games. And really I agree about Morpheus and Hololens, but they aren't in competition. One is a few hundred dollar accessory, one is a.... well much more expensive (I'd guess you're looking at $2,000 minimum, depending on the capability of the PC hardware) self contained wearable PC. Constantly putting Hololens in competition with Morpheus, Vive, and the Rift does a disservice to the Hololens honestly. It's just a different product aimed at a different segment.

Of course MS didn't help clear up the matter by sticking it in the middle of their games conference playing Minecraft. But you knew it would happen when it's their "Hot" item, and they spent stupid money on Minecraft. Maybe that's the goal here. Lessen the blow of Morpheus by dangling Hololens out in front of people who don't get it?

Last Guardian, Final Fantasy XV Kingdom Hearts 3, Guerilla games, Sony Bend, Studio Japan, etc. It's going to be a long ass show

True with both accounts. Hololens looked wicked though and i don't get the whole thing with Morpheus.

I don't know, do you think people will actually buy the hololens if it's actually over $1000?

Crap, we all are forgetting SFV. Something big is not going to be able to fit this show. lol

Absolutely! But not gamers, or casual consumers. It's aimed at professionals, at least initially. There's no doubt that general interest is something MS is cultivating, but it's going to take some time for it to get to a mass market price point. IT actually delivers a completely self contained experience, which means a fairly beefy PC, some kick-ass batteries, and a much more advanced type of rendering (beaming the image onto your eye!). The VR headsets are basically all smartphone parts. So much cheaper.

Call of Duty will be niche(tm)

I advise a lot of you to lower your expectations lol. Some of those lists are straight up idealist territory.

@bobrossperm: If Sony shows anything on The Last Guardian (or so the leaks say) it could turn the favors on Sony since MS has there BC news on there side. This should be good to see how Sony comebacks.
