xbox already won this year. Sony has no games in 2015. This might as well be sony's 2016 conference. And that backward compatability. Sony already showing multiplats 20 min in. All they got.
Also just a tad ironic given lems have been banging on about BC all day as their megaton. At least cows aren't dragging about games that are already out :P
well, MS actually showed other games too, ones that actually looked interesting. What they just showed of TLG didn't look impressive at all, graphically or gameplay wise.

We're only a couple of minutes into Sony's conference and they've already dropped a bigger surprise and now a new IP. MS couldn't muster that in more than an hour lol

TLG showing up is not a surprise. It was pretty much expected by everyone.
It's biggest draw is the story and atmosphere imo so not exactly trailer material, the game looks very rough atm and i won't be surprised if it does get a delay to 2017 tbh.
Every time TLG rumour got mentioned it was followed with "but we say this every year" etc. Don't pretend it was a sure thing, i know you've got to play anything PlayStation down but that's disingenuous.

Never would have imagined Guerrillas talent would be this immense. It launched straight to my 2nd most anticipated game for 2016, holy shit that was good.
No Man Sky, this game looks much more appealing that that tired, repetitive FPS game called Halo. This is something new, not something that all FPS games do. RIP my wallet.
Following up Horizon with a boring presentation of No Man's Sky was a poor move by Sony. Poor planetary scale and boring worlds, reminds me of exploring in Mass Effect 1, what's the difference besides one came out a decade ago?
