The Order destroys hopes and dreams of hermits

Sorry, I've been playing 21:9 games on PC for a while now. It's great, I get to see way more than in 16:9.

The thought of playing a 21:9 game made for a 16:9 television screen (and seeing less) doesn't really appeal to me :/

Shame, because I love RADs other games.

They'll stop half way into the gen as usual. Maybe a bit earlier this time around since the consoles are so weak.

Meanwhile, PC remains the best gfx and mos thigh scoring games every year....while they fight for scraps.

My thoughts exactly. I could be wrong but I remember hearing in one of their dev videos that they looked at the tech of the time and tried to make an AK47. Seems like they squandered a great setting to make yet another TPS.

Well, even though I do rather like the look of the game, I cant find the CGI level graphics in it that the TC was claiming. Perhaps it's in a different video?

This particular thread mentioned Hermits, but in EVERY PS4 game thread you will pop up to cry, bitch, moan and try your best to downplay. The vast majority of your posts are focused on bashing PS4 and defending xbone, having a gaming rig or posting in a PC game thread every now and then doesn't change that fact...everyone here knows this about you so cut the act clown.

The assets used in The Order aren't that much higher resolution that those used in Battlefield 4. The key difference is that the environments are tiny and extremely static.

There is a lot of visual trickery going on with The Order. The end result looks nice, I'm not denying that. Despite that there are games on the market right now that you can pump up to better visual quality levels than what we've seen with The Order. Crysis 3 and Battlefield 4 all look better and have a much larger scope than The Order. This is assuming you're playing the PC version and have a decent rig.

The main character models in The Order along are a whole gen above the likes of BF4 or Crysis 3, much better shading, full PBR, higher texture res, much better hair and the lighting man, so much more impressive. Put next to The Order, BF and Crysis look like jokes from last gen.

Looks great, but doesn't look fun to play. A game this linear must have a very good story and strong characters to deliver...we will see.

there wasnt a multiplatform game during gen7 that looked a gen ahead on pc, why would there be one for gen8?

Exactly, the game is hiding a lot of low res ugly assets behind filters and post-proccessing

I've been looking at 21:9 for a new monitor, how's the compatibility with games? I've heard some games don't support the aspect ratio and i'm not a fan of having to fiddle for a while to get things to work.

yeah skyrim and gta 4 look as good as anything on ps4 lmao. hermits remain the dumbest of the dumb.

well.... texture, detail, effects why yes.... the only part that can't is the underlying animation (despite being improved to some extent) and the poly count limited by the engine.

But yea... PC skyrim... can have multiple settings far beyond PS4 games currently have... look no further to the order that masks its mediocrity with effects, a staple of console gaming.

This could be another 5club for the Cows.Its a horrible game but it sold well so its awesome,in this case visuals and with their mob mentality it'll be like beating a dead horse until the next overhyped turd .
