Too many cut scenes there. Also, when is it actually going to come out? The PS4 is suffering badly from a games drought and its not going to get any better anytime soon. MLB The Show 14 isn't going to solve the problem either. Drive Club is likely a Fall release with The Order and Deep Down probably looking at holidays 2014 at best.

If the game actually ends up looking as good as those GIFs are, colour me impressed. That's The Witcher 3 - grade graphics right there. While TW3 will be backed up by upcoming GTX 880 GPUs, and/or 780 SLI systems, The Order 1886 has to rely on PS4 hardware, so yeeaah..

It doesn't matter if some of these are cutscene since gameplay graphics perfectly matches it, RAD could not stress enough how much this is a fact. People getting astounded by the graphics is simply a testament of what a splendid work the devs have done:).

Well for the Xbone ask MS why the decided to drop core in 2009 to go upwards of 65% with Kinect(lol) to chase the Wii's pot of gold and that will tell you why, not to mention the hardware isn't as powerful as trhe PS4 since you know, the PS4 is the most powerful video game console to have ever been created int he history of video games.

Just drawing red circles around everything doesn't make it look bad . Textures and LOD are looking amazing .

Yeah, they don't give the actual settings.

Just because the dude didn't post a screenshot of his graphics setting doesn't mean it wasn't running at that setting. He's using a 2600k clocked @4.8ghz and gtx 680 sli, it's safe to say it's at max setting. Also it looked exactly like that on my pc too.

You sure? I think it looks pretty good actually. Sure it could use some AA and the grounds a flat on the left. Otherwise it's hardly that bad, especially considering you're cherry-picking bad shots from something that wasn't a dolled-up demo for the game, like The Order's screens are. Maybe you could find some gameplay screenshots from The Order that look better than the gameplay screen posted to genuinely counter it, instead of just bringing up some random, unrelated screenshots?

Indeed, with true next gen lighting and advanced systems, the PS4 is leading the way with breathtaking visuals.

Hermits are literally grasping straws now by denying facts, why is it so hard just to admit it? These screenshots from the OP are literally direct frame buffer grabs, they look so good because the 4xmsaa and 1:1 pixel mapping to 1080p. Infamous SS is live example to prove console game can have pristine iq and it's not even using 4xmsaa like The Order is.

As for the crysis 3 shots, I was only being fair. If you're using less than stellar Alpha build shot for The Order why can't I use lesser ones for Crysis 3? Don't be a hypocrite.

Because this thread isn't about Crysis 3, and you're just making it that way because you don't have much of a defense for The Order or much to counter the screenshot, that isn't irrelevant anyway. If you can't make a defense based on The Order's own merits, then I guess it doesn't have many does it? Maybe show it's nice in-game environments and lighting? Can you even do that at this point?

Also, none of the screenshots in the OP are gameplay and I specifically requested you use gameplay, that's the only real way you can counter other gameplay shots. And no, I will not accept "gameplay and cutscenes, same graphics!" Pretty much doesn't look true at this point.

Apart from character models (which are awesome though) there's nothing in that picture that looks particularly good. I sure hope that the final version of the game will be more detailed and have better textures and lightning.

a 42 inch tv has more pixel than a 40 inch still picture quality is the same on a 1080p video, because pixel density is the same!

again The order is 1080p in panorama view which means it has thr same pixel density as a fullscreen 16:9

i can view every single 1080p footage in different resolutions 16:9, panorama "aka The order" etc
