The Game Everyone Loved.....And YOU DESPISED!

Previously, i asked everyone for the game they loved that everyone else hated

Now, i decided to make a part 2 and reverse the question. What is a game everyone else loved that you despised, oh and tell why

For me, i actually sorta hated the highly popular Metroid Prime Corruption. The game controls were a blast and had alot of potential, but the game itself was, to me weak and didnt satisfy. now it gathers dust in my room. I wanted to like the game, but i just couldnt. (yeah, i know metroid is in my sig, but thats just cus she looks cool lol)

I really can't say.

I would of said the halo series not long ago, but i've come to respect it.

I put it in, for like 30 seconds, and i was like, welp.. thats all i needed to know, and never played it again

Lords of Healm 3, i dont know how could gamespot give 8.1 ( i think, but i was 8 something )for that game...

and i didnt like prince of persia 2 too..

Well Vanilla Oblivion is an awful, glitch infested game, but with around 30 mods its not that bad :P

O trust me, i know. I was quite honestly amazed on how many mods it took me to make the game even anywhere close to how it was supposed to be.

Anyways, I hate WoW. That game is so crappy boring. You mostly level by doing quests, which I hate. Argh...when I first played that game, I wondered why everyone liked it and tried to find an answer for a day...

Even so, that doesn't mean you DESPITE it. You just find it overrate, but still find it enjoyable.

I still cant belive how buggy the game is, right now I cant turn the shadows on because if they are on the game goes black in certain places, and its all thanks to the amazing 1.2 patch. Anyway what overhaul did you use OOO or Frans?

You should try the original ones, which are vastly superior to Vegas.

Everyone who played Fallout 1 + 2 loved the bejeesus out of them.

I didn't.

Then again, though, I only played them for the first time in the last year (however, the fact that I am consistently late to the party did not prevent me from loving System Shock 2, Deus Ex, or Baldur's Gate 2, all of which became some of my favorite games of all time). I just feel that they haven't aged well.

However, my dislike of these games does not mean that I will like Fallout 3-if it is, as the devs say, "Oblivion with guns", I will hate it-I felt that Oblivion was one of the most broken and shallow RPGs I've ever played.

Mind listing those 30 or so mods? I've had my copy sitting right next to my monitor for over a year now, practically begging me to give it a second chance.

Half Life. Stupid uninteresting story, bland shooting, overated physics engine could go on and on. My friend was hyping it and I bought Orange Box beat the first two and returned it.

Oblivion - Compared to previous titles in the elder scrolls series this is horrible.

Everyone loves it so much, but when i played it, i thought it was mediocre. I played the crappy Xbox version, though, and i have said that i'd go back and play it on my PC sometime in hope that my mind will change.

I also hate GTA4, but so do a lot of people...

COD4. Although it's fun, I despise it for the fact that it tries to be a realistic military shooter. It's not. **** Juggernaut makes it so I have to shoot a guy twice in the head to kill them.Albanian_Killa

i am right there with ya... although i didnt despise it, i did not think it deserved all the applause despite it being pretty fun. i liked the game, but it was sorta overrated. So i didnt despise the game persay, but rather the exaggerated responses

Final Fantasy XII. Boring battle stystem, terrible story, boring quests.
