Tales of Symphonia coming to PC next year

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Tales of Symphonia, a Gamecube exclusvie, is coming to PC, and you may get it as pre-order bonus to Tales of Zestiria. That was a pretty much ninja announcement as I had not heard anything about it.

I rather play this on my PS3.

It's on a few systems, but I haven't played it since my GC days. I may pick this up.

Oh damn nice. Wonder if we'll start getting more old Tales games. Love this trend of jrpgs getting ported to PC as long as the ports are actually decent.

Nice! I didn't bother grabbing the PS3 re-release so I've not played it since the Gamecube one. I never pre-order anything but if means getting this free I'll do so with Zestiria!

Love this game on Gamecube, i hope they get the second one from Wii also. Would be a great collection for PC fans.

Sweet. This game was one of my favorites back when it came out.

Sweet, this was a great game, enjoyed Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon on the 360 to as far as jrpgs go.

But atleast Namco is fully on board with PC now. It's weird. ToS is apparently really old, and Zestiria hasn't even released yet to test the waters.

I have this game on Gamecube but never played it.

Guess I'll check it out someday.

Vanquish on PC would be awesome, imagine all that destruction and speed at glorious 60 fps.

I dream about that shit every day. Vanquish and Bayonetta 1 are the major action games that need a pc release.

I loved this game on GameCube back in the day, 4 player battles were epic with friends.

Multiplayer will likely be the deciding factor for me for the PC version, whether it allows for local multiplayer or not. Steam only says single player, which would be a shame.

It's in days like this, when the PC gets ports of console games a decade old that you truly comprehend why they call it the PC master race.

Actually, getting this level of support is good because it can lead to more Japan devs putting their games on PC.

SE is now bringing more jp games to PC, like Type-0.

Would love to see more Japanese shooters on the PC. Devil's Digital dig a great job of porting Binary Domain (well, after post-launch patches) so here's hoping we see Vanquish one day as well.

Vesperia is pretty fun for the first half.

The fact that you qualified it with first half speaks volumes for a game that is 40 hours long.

If we're bringing over old jrpgs to the PC

I want Chrono Trigger, I want Vagrant Story, I want Nocturne, I want Persona 3 and 4, I want Suikoden 1-3, I want Terranigma, I want Secrets of Mana, I want Skies of Arcadia. You know fun games.

Tales is like anti-fun. The dynasty warriors of jrpgs. How do you even achieve being that boring?

Platinum games in general. Their games deserve to be played at real 60 faps, not console 60 : (

@Legend002: It's not "Missing" Content if it was the Original Vanilla versions dummy. They weren't even available yet.

@jg4xchamp: Bayonetta 2 is godlike, but man, it sucks that i'll have to live with the shit framerate forever. In a such a precise and tight paced game, those jumps down to teh 40s really **** with me.

Vanquish, Bayo 1, God Hand, Dragon's Dogma, can be helped out if i got lucky, but Bayo 2 is going to always be stuck on the wii u's weak ass hardware

It's missing content because there's content in the PS3 version that was added later dummy. The GC version is a beta. We call those paid dlc these days.

This ain't no game made in the age of DLC.

DLC are released after a game comes out so it would still be considered DLC in todays time. The PS2 version only came out a year after the GC anyway. Stop being a tool.

Rather have more content in HD with dual audio over 60fps.

I still have my Gamecube copy. It was the first(and maybe last, not sure) JRPG I ever played and I really enjoyed it.

Is this the part where we start pestering Bandai Namco about Tales of Vesperia and/or Extreme Gundam VS?
