Hitman is already constructed like it could easily be a Bond game.
@Macutchi: I've noticed people who honestly believe BS, often make a compelling case. They get good at defending their belief because they have to constantly. People make the mistake of thinking they are just stupid, but there is usually a fair amount of logic behind a conspiracy theory. Enough that the average layman won't be able to refute off the top of their head.
Fucking EA, I knew when they bought Codemasters the F1 games would turn to shit. Playing a 2-player career with my brother and we start the first race, and the race is dry for me but wet for him making it impossible for him to catch the AI with wets on and the AI has dry tyres. Then the game just disconnected me from the servers, it's fucking trash.
It's this unfortunate situation where EA was able to buy them because Codemasters was already slipping, and EA was only going to make things worse. You know they are just in it for the F1 and WRC licences. Everything else will be abandoned, and most of their studios will just be supporting those two franchises.
Though having Codemasters Cheshire (Evolution) help with Need for Speed may end up being a good thing.

Everything EA touches these days turns to crap. Not even Codemasters could save the NFS franchise at this point.
Didn't Codies close the studio that was made up of ex Evolution Studios devs after the commercial failure of Onrush? I thought I read that somewhere, but I could be wrong.
Watched Love Lies Bleeding. Ed Harris is such a great actor, i want to see his ass in way more movies.
@judaspete: I dunno as Onrush was in their wheelhouse and while the game was ok the AI was atrocious which is the same problem the NFS games have rubberbanding AI. That's my biggest pet peeve with the NFS franchise.
Hey I guess they may as well have a go as Criterion & Ghost Games have had enough chances.
But Dice would be the best fit for NFS but EA has them making bad Battlefield games. EA doesn't even know that Dice are the bomb when it comes to racing games.

yeah for sure, this bart sibrel guy had been of this opinion the moon landings were faked for like 30 years and wasn't just some crackpot locked away in his basement, he'd directed numerous films on the subject, has close ties with nasa, russian and chinese space administrations etc. basically made a living out of it.
on rogan's podcast his conduct was very calm, very measured. he never once showed any sign of frustration or impatience when joe and jamie were trying to pull apart his claims. and he had an answer for everything; they just rolled off the tongue, no umms or errrrs. joe was really struggling to find a chink in his armour, and sibrel was almost chuckling to himself as though everything they could possibly ask he had already considered and had an answer for.
and the longer he went on the more he began to cast a shadow of doubt over the whole thing. joe asked him to come him back and go again with an expert who would be willing to go toe to toe and debate him basically because, like you say about the layperson, joe failed to convincingly refute his claims
Problem with conspiracy theorists (politics as well I guess) is that most people are deeply entrenched in their position that they only want confirmation bias.
@uninspiredcup: Cup, I still have not watched Spectre and No time. heard they are not good. are they really not worth watching? Skyfall was excellent.
only watched brosnan Goldeneye it was good. have not watched others.

Judge for yourself.
I don't like them, gave a list.
@last_lap: You know, that's a great idea. EA should let some of their studios swap franchises, because right now their big ones are slowly burning out. But that won't happen, EA is too big and myopic to try it. Battlefield will be dead in 10 years, and the next NFS will very likely be the last.
I do have some hope though, assuming enough of the core team is left at Evolution and Criterion. Evolution's strength is track design, even Dirt 5 had that going for it. If they ditch the open world (and story) and let Evo make some dynamic tracks with lots jumps and wide ranging elevation, while Criterion makes Criterion handling instead of trying to emulate Black Box, that could be a good game. Like the Hot Pursuit reboot all over again. But it all depends on how well the teams work together, and what kind of checklists of inclusions are handed down from above.

the one in goldeneye is best bond villain. archnemesis of Bond.
@ghosts4ever: Yeah I really enjoyed the villain in Goldeneye as well. Also just like Sean Bean as an actor in general.
the one in goldeneye is best bond villain. archnemesis of Bond.
Good. But I think Skyfall villain is better. Works better thematically with the movie.
Most of Craigs movies are suicide watch, which I hate. But Skyfall almost breaks the fourth wall as an examination of Bond as a concept.
He's outdated, old. And shouldn't be on field. With rat man being seemingly being superior, without moral or technological boundaries.
Both products of M. Who even though she acts like an asshole towards Bond has complete trust in him. With rat man being the fuckup, where he blames her, but it was actually because he wasn't like Bond that he wound up the way he did.
Blablabla movie ends, M acknowledges him somethingsomething, it's the one with him constantly looking like he hates being Bond, and just wants to be dead, makes sense, and works.
--
As far as overall villain? Obv Blofeld. Not the shitty new "Luke Bond I am your brother one" that sucks butt. The Sean Connery era one, who we never see until You Only Live Twice.
Pop culture thing now, everyone knows what the character is, but at that time, this it was a big reveal.
For all the movies up to this, he's been the driving force in the background.
How they deal with him? Eh. He should have died in this movie. Instead replaced by shit versions after DP. So never really has a proper death.
But Doctor Evil, all that shit, the many many meglomaniac type supervillains you see in other movies and video games, comes from this.
Scaramanga is good as well, Golden Gun underrated IMO. He's hard to not like. He just wants a pal to play shooty shooty bang bang with.

Don't know if you've played the Rallisport games, but they are 2 excellent games made by Dice and they have made many other racing games. EA are just plain stupid to not use them at least once for a NFS game.
As for Wenzen saying EA are buying Gunfire Games, don't believe him he's the Trump of SW just here to tell lies.
My wife convinced me to buy this damn gazebo and it was delivered today... not looking forward to building this on Saturday.

I am not trump, i am Elon, and he doesn't say any lies.
If we see Remnant 3, it'll be full of $10-25 armor skins, $10 emotes and $5-10 perks on the mtx store. Enjoy the dlc while you can.
@hardwenzen: Trump & Musk are the same. If you say anything bad about them, they have a cry on their "social media" sites.
So you likening yourself to either of them says a lot about you, mainly you're a soon lol.
I am Elon, and i can literally buy you. Don't play games with me.
@hardwenzen: Tell someone who cares on Twatter lol.
Would literally buy you, and sell you on porn hub, bro. You can't escape from me.
Holy Hell, we're getting a Lady Death video game? I'm so game!
This sounds like a game you'll like @BassMan
Definitely like the gore and violence. I think she may be a relative of Kratos. I also heard she dated Doom Slayer for a while. She is pretty badass.
@uninspiredcup: Rewatched Goldeneye
May be I change my opinion. this is best Bond movie. perfect mix of Spy and action. having best bond villain and best intro.
theres the reason why it got video game adoption that is most successful.
@judaspete: Rallisport Challenge 1 & 2 are among the best rally games I've played because they were on the Arcade side and not so much the Sim side.
But yeah that would be a great idea to have them swap, pity EA are run by a bunch of buffoons these days though 🤦♂️
Sometimes i wonder if ghost is even playing video games these days. All he does is talk about old ass movies in the lounge. Too old for gaming tbh.

How does one become too old for games?
Besides how old do you think he is? my guess would be late 30's max.

You lose interest, the excitement is gone. That is how you get "too old" for gaming.

I didn't lose interest in gaming, just because I didn't turn on my Xbox for about 3 months didn't mean I wasn't gaming, I was playing my retro stuff. Retro games are still games.
And you and Ghost would be close in age mid too late 30's in other words baby gamers lol.

Fair enough, but he is somewhere close to you in age so how is he too old?

I am not in my late 30's. And i am far far far far FAR from losing interest in gaming. Thanks **** because i remember back in 2013-2015 i thought i was losing interest. Turns out, it was just 1 good game a year, and one game of entertainment is simply not enough to be excited for gaming.
@hardwenzen: I said close, so give or take 5yrs, you're definitely mid 30's Wether you admit it or not.
As for one game per year, well you play very few games per year, so you really cant talk about, so you could say you have lost interest in gaming.
There's a massive difference between a game like Elden Ring, a game that offers me hundreds of hours of pvp alone, and a game like the last of us from 2013, a game i beat in about 25h on the first playthrough, and that's that. I don't mind 2 quality titles i can invest a lot of time each year, but when its just short singleplayer titles, that's a no no.
You all be glad you're not interacting with the gacha deranged individuals. Holy shit lmao. Truly mentally unstable.
@hardwenzen: The majority of people see ER as a SP game though, invading someone's game or someone invading yours is hardly worthy of being called MP, it would get boring real quick.
I reckon if you made a thread asking those who played ER did they play the pvp mode most will say no.
