Never, I don't have it in me to one up the cup. It's not something I realisticly consider.
Absolutely amazing first season of Bakuman. I do not regret giving it a second chance. Now to season 2 and I've decided to buy the manga boxset to support this amazing series. Hope it doesn't go like Death Note where the first half is amazing and the second half is mediocre and unnecessary. This better be good.
Got J-Stars Victory Vs+ this past Friday on PS4 [should have got PS3 instead] and I got to say that this game is somewhat okay but it's having framerate drops as the battles goes on, when I started playing the game, the first thing I noticed was a lack of instructions, [no manuals I mean] the character selection, however, is great, there is no English support if your used to watching Anime dubs but it doesn't bother me, been into this type of stuff for years now. J-Stars is okay but it sure needs to fix those lags, I been using Goku, Yusuke, and Madara. I say just wait for a price drop on this one and I'm surprise Gamespot hasn't done the review yet despite this game is even lucky to made it to the western.

Honestly its a mediocre game. all flash and no depth. it's just silly fun with family and friends. And finally getting to play as Aizen and other characters was good enough for me despite the gameplay being worse than Tenkaichi ( at least tenkaichi had decent gameplay and felt like you're playing the anime )
I have the japanese version on PS3 and I remember the first level having a tutorial to teach you basic stuff.
@jg4xchamp: I'm watching the 4th right now. Dude, the first one is so bad. It hasn't aged well. The first kiss between Rocky and Adrian was really creepy and borderline rapey. Also, I love how Adrian's big speech in the 3rd movie had more lines than her part in the first two movies combined. Lol
That new trailer for Creed was awesomr and got me really wanting to go back and actually watch these movies. Vince Howard is the truth
Adrian is an introvert socially inept virgin in the first movie, possibly abused by Paulie, during the second movie Talia Shire was pregnant, a coma plotline was contrived to get around it.
Have you ever sided with the antagonist in any medium? and why?
interested to hear what people think about this and why they sided with him.
I usually side with the antagonist because the "heroes" are normally quite boring. But nowadays anti-heroes are getting trendy so I don't get that anymore, I root for both the hero and the antagonist to duke it out for my entertainment.
Just received Tokyo ghoul vol 1 . The artwork is insane. Deadman wonderland is pretty good.
I really have become more appreciative of manga thanks to Bakuman . So much work goes into this stuff. It's freaking hard to accomplish. Bravo mangakas

The antagonist I sided with I believe has every right to be pissed at the protagonist.
I never sided with P4 antagonist because his reasoning for killing is absurd.
Those kinds of antagonists are poorly constructed and just sad. Like the classic comic villain or cartoon villain that is anti-social and hates all of the colorful heroes that they actively try to fend off. This is probably what I would do if I were a cartoon character.
They are supposed to encompass the terrors of social isolation and being "different". The good side is trying to make the villain "good". I view this as an analogy for social conformity. As a kid I would almost always root for the villains because they were more unique in design and personality.

I also feel the same way when I watch Transformers gen 1, and now Transformers: Prime. I was always rooting for the Decepticons [I was a Starscream fan cause of this] but while Megatron is consider really evil, I always understand what he tries to do and what's best for Cybertron, even in the cost of War.
@parkurtommo: maybe I try too hard to see the good in them because they used to be good. Trying to understand the evil side is more interesting. As a kid I always rooted for the heroes because I always thought good >bad ,but as an adult I find myself trying to understand the other side more and their reasoning for doing said thing and then make judgement.
Discussed this with my brother and he says it's because I'm evil.:p
Decided to go for that free trial of psnow to play stuff I missed. First up is ico...
Is it just me or does the game kind of suck? The player is slippery, he seems to love to stick to edges so he's always about to fall, yorda is dumb as a rock half the time so it got to the point where I had to literally hold her hand to get through parts, she is too dang slow, the combat is terrible and button mashy. The worst part that really grates on my nerves is the freaking camera. Jesus that camera is crap... I must really appreciate third or first person games a lot since the shifting of views all the time can get disorienting and switches the controls. You also tend to have serious depth perception issues with it too as chains are never quite where they really are due to the camera messing with your head and it unnecessarily zooms in and out at the wrong times. I haven't had such issues with camera as I had with this game.
The platforming puzzles are great enough and my drive to complete stuff I haven't beaten is enough for me to have gotten to the west tower, which I believe is close to the final boss. The games straight pissed me off multiple times getting me there though which annoyed me even more when you can tell the game is built to be some cutesy adventure game. I honestly feel that when games turn into these types of games, some things like pacing go a little too far to the wayside too such as Yorda being well... athletically weak. Such a crappy thing to say and would be blasted on reviews by users but it annoys me that I'm so much faster than her.
I can see some technical problems like yorda ai and such since the game was made so long ago, but I feel they could have done better still since they didn't do too bad on small details as it is. I think this was even a remaster (assuming it due to bluepoint games) so there could have been fixes.
