i hope its a star ocean for next gen consoles,i dont mind the voice acting,i will turn down the volume,i just want no cringe-worthy dialogues.And lots of stuff to do, like 4

The only Star Ocean Game I remember was Till the End of Time.

Freakin' game was amazing. I don't think there's another RPG like it.

One thing's for sure, Square did a much better Job in the Choices of that Space Opera than Bioware did for Mass Effect.

The only characters I liked in FFX were Auron,Lulu and Kimahri. Yuna reminded me of an oblivious blonde who wasn't really a blonde, Riku was just jail bait and wakka had his moments but he ended up getting annoying sometimes.

Pls let it be Tri-Ace as this game's developer and do give them freedom like what Sega did for them because Resonance of Fate was amazing

No Star Ocean 4 was great, it was filled with unexpected and heartwarming twists with funny well written dialog

Characters were great too, especially Lymle

the game's not pink and cute. That's just some random art they made for the menu and to promote the PS3 re-release in Japan. SOIV looks like some creepy uncanny valley kind of stuff.

I hope it's not Star Ocean. The Last Hope was without hope. One of the worst games I ever played.

i recently picked up the game for 20 bones for ps3. Im ready for the awful dub since I heard some examples from online.

I hope it's not Star Ocean. The Last Hope was without hope. One of the worst games I ever played.

SO2 was one of my favourite Ps1 games. I bought a PSP just for the enhanced port.

I hope this is true, despite SO3/4 being average.

I don't want Star Ocean, and I don't want FF13-3 or whatever, I want a sequel to Chrono Cross and Trigger and I want it right now! :P

I'd really like to see a Star Ocean at least as tolerable as 1 & 2. I find myself wanting to play SO4, but if the story is really that bad, it'll probably turn me off from playing it.

Expect this to be something terribly disappointing like a cell phone game though.

This, plus make it so you can decide which characters join you party depending on how you go about your adventure and who else you choose for your party, like Star Ocean 1 and 2. Loved that about the first two games.

Can't say I'm exactly happy about this news. I find Square Enix to be a terrible company; their games all have the same boring premise, same annoying anime/emo-style characters and ttheir games are one-dimensional grindfests that have always lacked substance no matter how many people seem to like them. While the next batch of devoted neckbeards go out and shell 50-60$ on yet another bad purchase, I will waste my money on something that actually provides a fun, entertaining session of gaming. Wish Square Enix would just fade out....I actually thought they have already.JameMcCabe
