There were alot more mistakes than just the price, man. PS3 was supposed to be a few times more powerful than 360, ended up with the same graphics. The hardware was hard to develop for, as a consequence, most multiplats looked and performed slightly worse. The online wasn't reliable, was plagued with constant and slow updates. Also had less features. 15 year old controler design. etc...
That said, i disagree with him. If those PS4 rumors are true, Sony seems to be doing everything right now (Powerful and easy to develop for hardware, third party focus, priority to core market, etc...). Basically the 360 of 8th gen :P

For every ps3 exclusive Microsoft releases two 360/pc games that are more critically acclaimed.We'll just agree to disagree on the library dude. What you're failing to realize is the chances of the next Xbox being the only console to get these PC games are slim to none. The only reason PS3 didn't get those games is system architecture. With both using offf the shelf PC parts, Â that's one advantage MS won't have anymore. That leaves you with just exclusive franchises in which MS hardly has any outside of Halo Gears and Forza, Â hence MS has no identity outside of those games. Touting these PC games which has no exclusivity to the XBox platform is dumb as it's not going to hold weight next gen. Keep on touting games like Prey and L4D though. Youre such an idiot.Â

Oh please that was propaganda sold not only by sony also by MS,just looking at ridiculous 1Teraflop performance claim by MS on 360 and the 2 TF performance claim sony did latter,both lie about their spec. What really hurt the ps3 was price. Geo Wars 2 isn't, no. GOW is on cellphones toom, GOW3 is still a PS3 exclusive tho.

What exactly has Sony said about Ps4 that rivals calling the Ps3 a supercomputer that can play games at 4D and 120fps from two 1080p HDMI sources?
Nothing. They're not bullsh!tting this time, and they're going for MS's throat. There is no weird ultra expensive CPU this time, and there's no new storage medium to ramp up that cost and take money away from other hardware components. Just pure power.
