Why bother owning any console at launch. They're usually shit.

because the PS4 is the most powerful console ever conceived.
#GreatnessAwaits
I see why Heil68 posts the way he does now, making out well constructed arguments for lemmings is pointless. It's better to just mock them with one liners and watch them rage and be mad that people don't want the new console from the company they worship
PS4ever Ahhhhhhhhhhhh Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah
What's really funny is there are gamers on here who don't want either game console. lol!! Even the one you worship is irrelevant to many. Yes, your post is just as pointless as Heil68, even though I respect him a bit more. At least he has played the competition systems.
lol, no one cares who you respect dude. and just because I don't put on blast that "I own an xbox thus I am impartial" BS like many people with a fanboy agenda to try to make themselves seem more credible dose not mean I haven't played the competition's systems...please come with more desperate assumptions out of your rear end, it entertains me greatly.
Owned original xbox since it first launched in 2001 and a 360 since 2010.
Thanks for playing tho...
Again, another pointless post. lol!! Yes, you are entertaining to SW. Don't forget to return your friends 360 games. lol!!
There was no reason to get it at launch before Watch Dogs was delayed. I'm waiting until more than one interesting game (inFAMOUS in February) is announced before jumping on board. Having said that, I most likely will eventually jump on board.
Im getting a PS4 at launch because......
1. I have the $$$$ to do so!
2. I always get the newest consoles at launch.
3. Killzone Shadow Fall looks amazing, plus Ill be plenty busy playing CoD Ghosts, NBA 2K14, Madden and Drive Club(providing it isn't delayed as well)
4. So I am not one of those people that is running all over town awaiting shipments of PS4's in hopes of snagging one of the 6 that a store gets in once a week through the holidays.
I'm definitely picking up a PS4 after the holidays, based off Sony's exclusives...just as I did with the PS3. The reasons I'm getting an X1 on launch day is mainly because of migration of friends. Everyone believes, as do I, MS has superiority when it comes to online multi-player. And now that there are dedicated servers for ALL games for free at the devs disposal, it's a no-brainer. Plus, there is no way I'm passing on Killer Instinct. I will pick up Ryse, AC4 and COD as well.
It's new and shiny. Traditionally it's better to wait until at least spring/summer, when there's more stuff out, and hopefully potential problems will have surfaced.
There's a slight chance I might tip and get a WiiU this year instead. Watch Dogs was kind of The Game for me. Now I don't know what the **** I'd need a PS4 for really.
Another one of those was just barely alluring enough for me to shovel out £29 for the PC version. Twice that? No thank you.

Can't say I agree with this statement. PS2 was amazing at launch because of Tekken Tag. Xbox 360 was amazing at launch because of the introduction to HD gaming and for Fight Night Round 3 and PGR 3.
Well. I'm actually alot more excited about the new features than the games coming out this year.
I really like that controller too so I want to use that.
As far as games I want to play.. I am hotly anticipating KZ:SF, Battlefield 4, and Assassin's Creed 4.
I'm probably going to end up getting Knack too, I really want to try it first though.
For me mostly the graphics jump. I game mostly on PC and the PS3 and 260 just aren't cutting it anymore.
