Not always, 'cuz sometimes it makes sense to choose the underdog because there's less competition on that platform. Like releasing the best version of RE4 (well other than PC) on the Gamecube made sense, 'cuz GCN owners noticed, and they were like "oh man, must buy, it is like a steamy fresh cheeseburger!" Then, everyone heard how good it was, and when it was ported to the PS2 and PC it could sell more.
Business strategy is all complex and crazy like that.
When the Wii's use base is larger than the PS3/360 combined we'll see how well your theory holds up.
Are you insane? My theory is 100% correct - companies don't just release games for the winning platform silly - how else do you explain the Gamecube and the Xbox having games? In fact, why are they making Wii games now, 'cuz it's not #1 yet! Obviously companies will put games on any platform that makes money, even if it's not the first place platform. If a platform gets ignored, there's less competition on that platform, so companies start eyeing it going "there haven't been any GameStation games in a while, let's make one!"
I never said games will cease on the 360/PS3...
just that the greater the Wii's userbase exceeds that of its competitors, the greater chance for third party sales, and the greater amount of third party games will be seen on the Wii.
