@sherman-tank1: Go in your profile on startup screen then go to settings click on PSN then click sign out. You can play dai without being logged into PSN. Game progress saves just you can't access multiplayer or dragon keep.

Sony just made a post on the official Blog that the outage is due to the massive traffic of new owners and that it shouldnt take too long but man im getting really annoyed here i just want to play Destiny

Disconnect your internet has worked for me. I don't have many digital games though.
Funny though hows it's mainly the Destiny players that want PSN back online. That game is fuckin terrible.

i mean yes it has no story, pretty much grind fest and the new DLC had some shitty idea's implemented into it but the game is pretty addictive especially if ALL your friends play it too.. now if you play it solo thats a different story...
is it a 5/10 game? yes but its one of those addictive low scored games mainly due to its online PVP and Raids

I can attest that XBL worked last night and PSN worked all last night when I got home.
Both are working all day today in my area at least.

Having a fantastic router helps, but having speedy internet is crucial...but in the end, I'm still a slave to the service, that is if it's up or not.
It's luck of the draw at the end of the day based on area, etc. Regarding my area, I wouldn't publicly disclose with the amount of angry, angry trolls out there. I won't say anything in this thread, but there are some real angry freaks stalking users. You read about them sometimes, and some of us experience it first hand in many ways. It's amazing, the power of presence and words can have on a damaged mind.

Just a heads up and I'm not sure if you are interested, but Walking Dead Season 2 is only $6 on the PS4 Playstation Store. They are having two sales, a holiday sale and a flash sale. I scanned the XBL store as well today, but their Walking Dead XBone deal was $25.

I remember that earlier sale, but it wasn't cheap enough to bite at the time for me. $6 is sweet though. It's a little over $1 an episode, plus I paid $5 for the first season. It's great price for those that haven't bit yet.

Crafty little buggers are obviously hitting different regions at different times, this tells me that they don't have the Savvy or the manpower to take these services completely offline.
