PS4 vs X1 (Round 1) FIGHT!

So this fight feels like its been going on for a while now... and unfortunately it's just begun... so lets take 2 open world games that are exclusive (currently) to each side of the battle and compare them, shall we?

Dead Rising 3 on X1

Now InFamous: Second Son on PS4

So which one looks better? I'd say InFamous does... but DR3 does have a lot more enemies on screen at once.

Neither really looks next gen, only slightly higher res versions of this gen.  Perhaps PC has spoiled me, but I mean, look at the ground textures on both, or the trees.  I thought a few months ago, devs were saying this gen would be about detail, yet so much of these launch games look like last gen.  Second wave of next gen games will be much better im sure.

Hard to know what is a bullshot and what isn't.... none of the shots I found had a HUD... not that thats always a clear cut indication.... look at early trailers for FFXIII for example.

Edit* also.. the first DR3 shot is from IGN... not YT... so your argument looks like the anger of a fanboy that doesn't like what he sees.

... Nov. 22 & Feb the following year... yeah... such a disparancy. Thats some of the weakest DC I've ever seen.

Titanfall? Yeah I have seen it... I think it's going to be great. The next big thing, in popular FPS imo. I'll surely enjoy it on my PS4 after MS "exclusive" deal runs its course.

Or... if I just gotta have it right away, I could play it on my more than ample PC.

Imfamous SS definitely looks better, that's obvious. Infamous and Quantum Break are so far the best looking games on consoles right now. That's my opinion. I can't say which is better, because i haven't played either. Both games will be running at 1080p 30fps. Infamous SS was running a bit smoother while it was being played. As it stands right now Infamous SS definitely has the edge. I'm glad I will be the owner of BOTH games when they are launched. :lol: ;) :P

Game still looks good. The world map is huge in this game as well. Haven't seen the world map for Infamous SS yet. Both games will be awesome. There's really nothing to complain about here.

Frankly I don't see much difference even though you are using bullshots to horrible screen grabs of DR3.

I am still waiting on the tFlopzers and Dat Ram of PS4 to show me Cell like graphics.

Both look really good. I think technically they are doing different things. DR3 ius going for sheer amount of characters onscreen, while Infamous looks to go for more special effects and stuff. Both look great. Its to me like comparing a Halo and a Killzone. Both are FPS, but Halo is moving vehicles whiule KZ concentrates of graphic fidelity. Both impressive, but are going for different end results.

"a thousand"? REALLY? Perhaps you should do a recount.

The point is that DR3 has many more characters on screen... I get that. So just say that and save the hyperbole for your XBOT friends to explain how "sick" your "CoD" game was last night.

Infamous by a long long way. Both games will be brilliant, cannot wait to play both. That said I'm disappointed with the art style of DR3. I thought this gen would bring back more colours, but this has to be the greyest game in a very long time.

I'm well aware lad ;) , I'm just playing the system wars game (if you saw any of my posts at the time I did insist that frame rate issues at that point was not an issue at all). It's true they said it was a lot smoother at Gamescom (though not completely smooth); will be fine by launch.

That said though, I still dislike the colour palette. A lot.

I know that this is a bit irrelevant, but I think Ryse: Son of Rome is the most impressive looking game on the XBOX ONE.
