I'm genuinely curious, because I've been a console gamer since the Atari 2600, and which console is more powerful was never really something I cared about or even knew. Never knew which was more powerful, the NES or SMS, Genesis or Super Nintendo, etc.

the way sony is marketing this tho power matters, being the most powerful system that delivers the best multiplats is super important, cuz this generation is all about those multiplats like call of duty people want the 1080p next to those big franchise if they don't get they move to diff system like the ps4
