The Order 1886 isn't a horror game, dumbass. Its a third person action adventure game.

I've played Dying Light and its everything that the original Dead Island SHOULD of been. Its soo much better.

I voted for the Evil Within only because "TO:1886" isn't a horror game, that being said I do think that will be the best/highest rated game out of the 3.

I almost jumped out of my seat with anxiety during the Evil Within demo where the guy is trying to escape the chainsaw hulk thing, and he's hobbling around all slowly... nerves man... nerves

Yes, it is a third-person action game, but it absolutely is in the horror genre!!

One journalist writing an article, the title of which saying horror (but no content in actual article to back that), does not automatically make the game a horror game.

Having said that, I will pick Dying Light.

I'm looking forward to The Order more but I don't think it's classified as horror.

Well, if some guess was made based on the annoucnement trailer, it must be true... Hmm... Maybe we should see what the developers have to say about it.

The Order looks great though it's not a horror game. Out of Dying Light and Daylight I'd go with Dying Light. Either way, all of them I get on PS4. :)

All look good, except for the order because we haven't seen anything yet.

Game's creative director says it includes horror. Not sure that makes it a horror game, but the guy is not completely wrong.

"Horror Elements" makes it as much of a horror game as the puzzle in Uncharted make it a puzzle game.

Evil Within looks so mediocre is not even funny. I actually want this game to be good but it looks terrible!

Could be. Or it could be more like Dead Space. We don't really know at this point, but we do know it includes horror so I don't know why you are bashing him so much.

I said it twice. Calm down. And like I said, even they said its something other than horror. If horror has any intent to be the focus of the gameplay, they wouldn't have said third person action adventure.

The Evil Within, as much as I'm hyped for The Order it shouldn't be on that list.

At best, i see The Order having slight horror elements to it similar to how there were some "scary" moments in the first gears of war. The game itself, based off of what we know, doesn't seem to be trying to be a horror game.

Think you need to reassess who needs calming.

Linear, 3rd person, and shooting mechanics are irrelevant to this particular discussion. That leaves your quote which says action adventure. And his quote which says adventure, suspense, and horror. I am not entirely convinced how much horror or whether it can be classified as horror, but looking at that quote I can see how he can think that.

Moreover, what does it matter when we don't know yet? It should be enough that the suspense and horror elements will hopefully distinguish it and add an extra dimension. Or it could be a UC puzzle game. I am hoping for the former. If you are hoping for the latter, so be it.

Hmmm.....for some reason Cows don't want The Order 1886 to be a horror game even though articles say it has horror + suspense, and horror + suspense usually means major horror elements. But why this strange backlash from the Cows? That is the odd thing. Maybe the horror genre is somewhat less popular to the masses and harder to hype? There seems to be an agenda here from the Cows. Anyone else notice this?

Anyways, I for one welcome a good exclusive horror+suspense+action game on the PS4. The Order 1886 looks like it's gonna be awesome!!

The Order has been called an adventure game by the developers so no real horror there.

Dying Light looked Ok but just too similar to Dead Island. the night scenes looked good though.

I went for The Evil Within. If Shinji Mikami can pull off a good old school horror title again it'll be fantastic.

From the real gameplay pics i seen i think The Order could be considered a horror game. Anyway, i might buy all of them on PS4. Dying Light has a chance to flop though... lol
