Pokemon X and Y Talk; Luminose City Glitch Patch in eShop!

Yeah, I had only reached the Frost Cavern when my Tyrantrum, Talonflame, Pangoro, and my Dragalge were all 51-55. I was catching a Trevenant and Bergmite then. Training the latter two has made them both level 43 and 45 and slowly boosted the level of the others.

Anyone got a spare Blastoise Mega Evo stone? Would they be willing to trade for my Charizard X mega evo stone that I'm saving for?

I have no interest in having a mega evo Charizard, but Blastoise is on my team and no way to obtain that stone otherwise :(

That's actually pretty common in one of the later caves. I got tired of seeing them. It's interesting how they've turned dragon into being just like any other type in that they're not incredibly hard to find.

Yes that sounds about normal. I beat the elite four with my pokemon in the 70s.

Wow Zygarde is just awful. I mean it's stats are just bad. No real reason to see it that I can tell. Off to get Mewtwo. I gotta say the post game content in this seems very weak compared to black 2 and heart gold.

It's off of route 22 by the chamber of emptiness. You need waterfall and strength.

My Tyrantrum learned it naturally by leveling up :P

Also, about the story

It just got darker. They're drawing on Xerneas' energy to power the ultimate weapon to basically kill all life and start afresh... except in the new, fresh world, there won't be any Pokemon. They are actually going to kill all Pokemon. That's a pretty unexpected turn to take this story in.

Someone with Y version, how does this sequence of events differ in Y?

My obsession with catching every female pokemon in each area is seriously hampering my progression.

I mean, we have to remember, kids play these games too. Nintendo can't risk anything higher than an E rating :P

So far, this game has been wonderful. I just hope the final gym and Elite Four continue on with this momentum.

@charizard1605: yeah it's basically the same events for Y. I think they should have extended the plot of Team Flare. You don't realize what they are doing until right before it happens then it's over. I think it was anticlimactic.

But, I'll admit, the Leader of Team Flare's musical battle theme is epic. Will look it up on YouTube to remember it.

LOL. Got so screwed in the Power Plant. I only had my Meowstic and Braixen left to fight Aliana, but the Admin's Houndoom completely walled them both. I was left with my Braixen who only had fire and psychic moves, so I had to restart and backtrack to Coumarine City. It ended up evolving into a Delphox against Aliana though.

And I just reached Lumiose City with the power back on. This place is gigantic.

@Big_Pecks: Yeah, I actually hate that it's so massive. I already memorized a couple of the towns but I'll never remember where stuff is in that city.

I'm at 30 hours, and I haven't even won my eighth badge yet...

I beat it in like 35 hours. I caught like 180 pokemon and did a lot of GTS stuff. Also EV trained for like an hour with the minigame. I don't get why you wouldn't explore all the new features.

Oh and my Haxorus is freaking amazing. It's level 62 now, has 258 attack. Can't wait till it learns outrage.

Oh and I just realized that Amaura's ability is that normal type moves become ice type. That's great for return - it is an attacker right?

I didn't do much sightseeing, just went straight through.

Oh I agree that it was shorter. But I kinda like that, I never liked having to find items and stuff.

And man I'm doing this battle thingy that's in Lumiose City. Used Overheat on a skarmory and of course it missed, I think the only time it's ever done so. Lost the fight because of that.

Ha wow, this little detective stuff is pretty funny. Lots of cheesy jokes. This is an interesting way to do end game stuff, pokemon has never really done anything like this before as far as I know.

Does anyone have a Ditto that they would be willing to trade with me? I don't even care if it doesn't have the best Nature (as long as its Nature is not shitty).

@charizard1605: I have two. FYI you can get them in pokemon forest or whatever. Right before the 8th gym.

Yeah I caught a Ditto today and it was the hardest thing to catch so far aside from Zygarde who was insanely tough for some odd reason when Xerneas and Mewtwo I got so easily. I caught Xerneas with a regular Poke Ball and got a critical catch on my first try lol seriously. And Mewtwo I got on the 2nd try with a Great Ball.

This just isn't fair. A stranger took me on and I find he has every legendary on his team.... I feel a lot better now I have taken out Mega Mewtwo Y and Yvetel with just my Jolteon though

Actually, nevermind, I beat him with only 2 of mine fainted :D . Poor Jolteon and Pidgeot fainting :( . That said Tyrantum happily chewed threw his blatsoise, Blaziken, Charizard, and whatever his other one was without taking much damage :P

Kinda sad that I got a Gibble through Wonder Trade and it had Pokerus.

If anyone is needing money, go to Cafe le wow in Lumiose City. It costs 100,000 to get in and you have to do 5 double battles. If you use the money lvl 3 and an amulet coin, you get about 200,000 for beating the trainers. You also get 25 balm mushrooms if you beat the trainers in the correct amount of turns which are worth 6,250 each. So yeah if you do everything right you'll make around 250,000 in about 10 minutes. It's also good training.

Alright, got a Metang for a Tailow. I'm trying to get a good Metagross and Gyarados right now. Also working on filling up the central Kalos pokedex, at 73 right now. It's actually pretty easy to get the starters - you just gotta deposit pokemon in the GTS, searching for them usually brings up people with ridiculous requests like Xerneas.

Oh and I'm loving quick balls. Use a discount lvl 3 and you can get them for 500 each. I catch easy pokemon almost all the time with it and harder to catch pokemon about half the time.

Prepare to have all your free time taken away.

For the first few hours, then you'll realise it's just another Pokémon game. :(
