PC is the best platform for playing RPG games

Here are the reasons why

1- On pc you can use mods which let you to customize you character better and improve its features

2- Keyboard and mouse make playing RPG games far easier, especially when it comes to CPRG and turn based games. Plus if you play a JPRG, you can always use a controller

3-Better performance

4-except multiplatforms most of great RPG games are only on PC:

Bollocks to THAT, the majority of great JRPGs and SRPGs aren't on PC.

Most of them aren't among the greatest RPG's.

Don't forget Guild Wars 2: Heart of the Thorn. The game pretty much plays like a RPG.

I agree that PC gets by far the most quality RPGs. But you forgot to mention the most recent of the bunch, one which is quite a bit better than PoE too. That is Serpent in the Staglands.

I would agree... but there is something to be said about the 3DS as well.

MH4U, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem Awakening, FF etc.

Im not saying its the better option, but being able to break out a portable system and do a bit of farming when/wherever has a certain appeal.

Depends on what kind of RPG's you like, but for me, yeah, the PC is def where it's at for awesome WRPG's, old school RPG's, SRPG's, and basically everything except for JRPG's which frankly I don't care about anyways. The one RPG that's not on PC that I am glad to have a PS4 for is Bloodborne.

Not to mention even for the multiplats the PC version is almost always completely and utterly superior.

Mount and Blade 2, don't forget... That's a big one. And Fallout with mods.

Zelda isn't an RPG. Never has been.

Persona games have a nice storyline and charatcters. The very shallow RPG elements are very poorly executed. Awful, awful repetitive dungeon crawling, very little control of character building and absence of customization on play style.

Yes, Xcom is great. PC still lacks the entire Fire Emblem, Shining Force, Disgaea, Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy Tactics series, consoles are way better for that genre.

No, have it for PS3. Agreed, it's one of the best SRPGs ever, great that there was a PC port.

The entire PS2 JRPG Catalogue can be played on a PC. PSP Games can be played on a PC. Gamecube, Wii, PSX, SNES, GBA too. That pretty much covers majority of the Great JRPGs and SRPGs out there.

I agree that the best RPGs ever made are PC exclusive. You need DOSbox to play them though.

In last 10 years PC RPG scene is wasteland and it mostly only gets console ports with UI that is awkward to use with mouse and keyboard.
