I just completed my first marathon run through of the PS4, i feel so exhausted lol but in a good way. I have to say, the general level of excitement for the PS4 in UK is huge!!!....You could see all the excitement on peoples faces as they were in line for their console.
Well, it was totally impossible to get a PS4 without preorder. One shop was still accepting orders for custom bundles though. Will get mine with Fifa and Need for Speed "before Christmas".
So far just tried KZ: SF and Resogun, KZ is actually better than i thought and now with a great controller i'm really enjoying it, it helps that it's very easy on the eyes. Resogun is just awesome so far, really hard to stop playing.
So far so good...love how quiet and fast the system is! My only complain is the controller. It's great and alot better than the previous Dualshock models, but i need to adapt to the symmetric analog layout.

My only issue with the controller is that damn light reflecting on my TV, i have to sit sideways to the TV to be comfortable.

I think it needs a bit of patience, no one learnt to drive a car in a day. Just like any technology that requires some tacit knowledge, you would have to get used to it

I used the 360 controller for 8 years, but i know it's a matter of time. Dualshock 4 is very confortable, i actually did pretty well on my first BF4 match!

You can already see it yourself, those 8yrs is basicly 8yrs of training with a different system. For example, i find it difficult to use MacBooks because i am used to the Windows operating system and recently i just got a smart phone, it took me a couple of weeks to adjust to typing on a screen but now i seem to be doing fine with it. It is one of the things that puzzles me when people debate Asymetric vs Symetric, there are no better ones between the two, just different control methods. I cant jump into an automatic gear car and expect it to work like a manual gear car, vice versa.
But sure, sooner you would get used to it and MOW people down on BF4, speaking of which i plan to get very soon so u can add me up if you like

I find BF4 to be a better looking game than Shadowfall. Shadowfall looks more consistent, but when BF4 is looking at its best, I find it to be better looking. Not to mention it runs at 60FPS.
I'm having an insanely tough time deciding which one looks better, especially when you consider the scale of BF4. They both make Ghosts look like an embarrassing attempt though.

I haven't played Ghosts on Ps4/X1, but I can see it not looking all that good.

Doesn't hurt that BF4 runs at 60FPS.
I didn't think they'd be able to pull off the 60FPS to be honest. Can't wait to see how good Battlefront looks.
Just did a 12 hour marathon with the Ps4. It's almost 8:30AM.
Shadowfall is the weakest fps I played this year. Definitely the weakest Killzone game. I have no idea what they were thinking when they put that SP together.

Right now I'm really into Knack, which is quite basic, gameplay wise, but more fun than I thought. Lego Marvel heroes is also a lot of fun and very relaxing to play. I tried to play Killzone, but I totally suck at it, even in easy mode it's unplayable for me. I just can't do FPS's with a controller. (does anyone have tips for me?)

I play 99.9% of shooters with mouse and keyboard, playing KZ:SF is really hard for me and i totally suck at it because of the controller, but, the DS4 is much better than the DS3 for shooters and i'm getting better as i go along. So yeah just stick with it.

Nice advertising for Channel 4 in that clip always found them ads creative. Though it kinda leads me to believe that the video was touched up to a degree as i can't imagine that big ass 4 making it into the final game...

Proper loving the PS4, played it all weekend, had to make the most before going back to working constantly. The UI has really grown on me, feels intuitive.

Indeed, it was awesome! Next time we try to beat the game on the hardest diff level =)
I got those slow down/delay too, but i think it was a server problem.
