MGS3 took place long before the MGS1 time period.

DMC3 took place before the DMC1 period.

They were proper sequels with great enhancements to gameplay. You get Halo 1, then Halo 2, Halo 3... then Halo WARS. Halo ODST. WTF. Halo Reach. I think I made my point.

No, no you didn't. Your point is null. A prequel like say, Perfect Dark Zero, is not Perfect Dark 2. Why wasn't Ratchet And Clank Future: TOD called Ratchet & Clank *insert number here*? You are not a developer, and when you make a AAA franchise, selling in the millions, then you can name whatever your fourth installment, be it a prequel, whatever you want.

Got nothing to do with the platform, atleast for me. What the hell is the point in this game, Kojima should have remade MG 1 and 2 or just let MG go. You played MGS4 right? Raiden might have looked cool but he whined much more in MGS4 than MGS2. Lighting Bolt Action...yay, if he wanted to make a hack and slash game he could have atleast made it with Gray Fox.

and raiden never really whined in MGS4 but did have some long drawn out dialogue

LOL i knew it wasnt exclusive because they never made a point to say "exclusive to the xbox 360" so im offically not going to buy another 360 until maybe next e3 or a game worthwhile is actually exclusive to the 360.

Well thankfully Rising is Multi, So I can play it. But man I can't wait for Sony's conference tomorrow, I can't wait, the anticipation is killing me. I hope there is another PS3 MGS game with BB. I'd be so disappointed if it was only PO2.

But I have a solution for PS3 and Xbox owners

You make a MGS4 Subsistence for PS3 and Xbox 360

so technically PS3 can say MGS4 is exclusive for them and Xbox owners can enjoy the Susistence verseion of the game on their 360's.

It's a win win situation right?

There is NO WAY at this point MGSIV will go to the 360. It's already been a year that its been out, and E3 is to showcase games that will be coming out within the next 1-2 years. Trust me if they had any plans to port the game they would not have missed the opportunity toannounce itat their press conf.since it wasn't you are talking two years since release come next E3. Why would either side even bother at that point, especially with a new MGS they have to promote. The adventures of Solid Snake days are over with MGSIV and it's not going to any other platform at this point. It's time to look towards the new installments

That sounded a bit korny, how was Lightning Bolt action ever an Exclusive? Its like the WHOLE SERIES is suddenly on the 360 which its not.

And only MGS 3,4 areexclusive.

EDIT: Oh, and it hasnt "gone" anywhere just the exclusivity which means more ppl can enjoy it.

MG has been on nintendo platform and xbox platform before. The series wasint tied down to sony. Its just this new game is on both now.

If its 360 exclusive then I'll officially declare this gen as the one that defied all logic since the main MGS fanbase has always been on PS so therefore those gamers who have not played MGS2 or MGS4 would be totally lost as to where this cyborg ninja came from.

That being said I'm not sure if this is what I wanted when I thought a Raiden game would be a good idea, I'll have to wait and see.
