Nintendo really has to get better third party relations. It's a platform with potential, but so far Nintendo has been their own worst enemy.

That's really sad, but at least one of those two games is the only game I intend to purchase for the next two months. I'm trying to keep my purchases down and focus on completing what I already have at this point. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is the number one must-play of the year for me so I'm buying it day one.

I already feel like I got what I expected from the Wii U. Hell, my end of gen Wii collection is only sitting at 5 games. My end of gen Wii U collection is shaping up to at least double that.

The Wii U already released it's big guns though and it's still in the frying pan :s the other two still haven't and one of them is catching up with 1/4 of a year. While the Wii U has well over one.

I was under the impression that platform holders primary concern was providing their customers with as many games (1st, 3rd, indie, etc.) as possible, but Nintendo only seems ti care about peddling their own shit. Their anemic software support isn't enough to appease core gamers. Glad they're taking a beating in the console space right now. I hope they change things up for the better next round. Either that change their pricing model accordingly. <$200 is what I'd pay for a low-powered, antiquated, half-baked gimmick like the wii-u. Anything more is robbery.

I'm actually pretty stoked for Tropical Freeze. Not sure about the other game though. After playing DKC Returns recently, I am actually looking forward to it.

Still though, that is pretty bad but Nintendo did this to themselves. They need to Market like they did in the Super NES era and get the dev kits out in time for devs to get something made for it.

Nintendo follows no one, but themselves. They put thmselves in the situation they are in currently and they will find a way out of it next gen most likely.Third party devs won't provide dlc or updates to a game if the sales are not their for the product they produced.Graphics don't really matter, that nintendo could have a way to get an architecture that makes porting easier.All your points revolve around the ltd of third party games on the platform.
