Lol Gears of War 1 > Killzone 3

Graphically, story-wise and definetely water-wise....

I honestly can't believe K3 looks this bad..considering K2 looked insane, whatever effect effect they removed makes K3 look terrible, IMO.

K3 suffers from jerky/glitchy animations/dialog (repeating the same word) horrid jags/AA...and some of the worst character models/textures.

The only good looking thing in k3 is the clothing/outfit with some decent detail, but even that is hard to appreciate.

lots of games r better thn killzone 3. For example half-life 2. not the best graphics but sill one of the best shooters ever made

actually rico is a pretty good character in killzone 3, honestly I was surprised the characters were quite likeable.

Lol, I found this and thought it might fit this topic:

I think the gritty st1e in Killzone 2 was better than the clean-but-shimmering mess that is Killzone 3,

but I don't think that Gears 1 looks better than KZ3. I do like the gritty, almost MadWorld-like sty1e

of Gears 1 though.

I played the beta and it was, judging by that, one of the best looking console games to date. Gears 1....not even close.

and please stop putting IMO in front of everything. this isn't even up for debate, killzone 3 is very far ahead of gears of war graphically. you can say whatever you want about the visuals, but the effects, scale, textures, animation ect. is superior in killzone 3.

i personally like the ps3 alot more than the 360, but i cant stand playing any FPS on any console since im a big time pc gamer where all my FPS's are played. So with that being said, i have to agree. I personally like Gears of War and will say GeoW > Killzone and halo franchise combined!

Well I can post a photo of two copies of gears 1 , a copy of gears 2 , one of killzone 2 and one of killzone three , and say that graphically wise the list goes like this : kz3 > kz2 > GeoW 2 >> GeoW

edit : I have two copies of GeoW 1 because xbox almost tore the first one apart with scratches , then I bought a platinum version.

GeoW 1 + GeoW 2 < Killzone 3
