Lol Gears of War 1 > Killzone 3

I think I might agree, but I don't have Gears of War 1 or Killzone 3.

Graphically, story-wise and definetely water-wise....

I honestly can't believe K3 looks this bad..considering K2 looked insane, whatever effect effect they removed makes K3 look terrible, IMO.

K3 suffers from jerky/glitchy animations/dialog (repeating the same word) horrid jags/AA...and some of the worst character models/textures.

The only good looking thing in k3 is the clothing/outfit with some decent detail, but even that is hard to appreciate.

Gears of War has aged terribly, especially now that we have a slew of superior shooters coming out left and right. Vanquish alone tramples both Geow 1 and 2.

Gears of War 1 is better than Killzone 3, and its graphics certainly were more ground-breaking for 2006 than Killzone's were for '11, but it does not look better. It's a better game, has a better campaign and the online is more enjoyable, but it doesn't look as good as Killzone.

Here I was thinking the ps3 fanboys had gone too far, making me ashamed to be lumped with them as I like the ps3 over any current gen console. Thank you for reminding me that all fanboys are like that.

I've been playing GoW1 on PC, have it on 360 also... This game looks stunning even after almost 5 years. It looks way better than I thought it would ever look. It looks better than GoW2, just like you guys are saying K2 > K3 in graphics too.

Gears 1 is indeed a better game imo. I played that sucker for a good two years online while kz3 is already boring me 12 hours in. Trading it in later this week.MFDOOM1983

Gears 1 is the superior game, but Killzone 3 has better graphics.

played GeoW1 on my 32" sony telly downstairs and tbh its nothing spectacular and roughly bout the same as the average multiplat by todays, heck even UE3 engine games which are much newer look A LOT better in terms of many things over GeoW1.

While Gears is a better overall game, it's nowhere near KZ3 on a technical level. Also, saying Gears is a better game doesn't mean KZ3 is not a good one. Actually, it's definitely one of the better shooters of this gen imo. I don't think the story of either one is better than the other, but the Gears way of storytelling is definitely more engaging.

Have I missed the show yet? This is going to be awesome
