Well here it is not only did Square Enix announce the release date which will be on Fall of this year but also a bunch of new screenshots and an extended trailer featuring Noel fighting Lighting :o

Man, atrocious framerate still. They should show a different none terribly running video. Other than that, it still looks bland but I wanna see how it turns out.

Eh, that's not an exact date. Trailer did look bland and having only one playable character is sad. I'm guessing SE are rushing to get this out before next-gen consoles arrive too, which might be an extra bad omen.Sphire

Square-Enix keeps pulling Nomura's team off of Versus 13 to help with these FF XIII sequels (Why do you think they come out so quickly.). :lol:

Maybe you'll see the game at Tokyo Game Show 2013 after Lightning Returns is out.

Not really, the only thing people want is a return to form. No one legitimately cares how they do it. I've played enough FF games with everything you're asking for, I don't see why for the 15 entry in the series more of the same is an absolute requirement.

Ewww, I def do not want to see any sort of DmC stuff in FF. Regardless, I wanna see where they go wih FF15. This isn't a hard thing to rebound from.

No more FFXIII games, after playing the first two enough is enough. Though knowing me I will probably still get this game when it becomes cheap.:P

I thought FF13 ended very well. There was no need for a sequel or even a three-quel. Square Enix effectively ruined the first game's canon by releasing these sequels.

Can't wait to play the final installment.:D . I wonder how its gonna turn out. Probably gonna be the only game I spend the full $60 for this year as well

I remember thinking This new game's combat actually seemed promising and interesting, I just wish it wasn't attached to the FFXIII universe. I really don't want to buy FFXIII-2 just to know WTF will be going on in the third game.Well, I probably wouldn't understand the story anyways due to bad, convoluted storytelling, but still...

I didn't like the fist game THAT much and found it overall poor and flawed for me to want FFXIII-2.

Why does this exist? All it's succeeding at is delaying Type-0 and Versus.

It looks really really bad and after the Joke 13-2 was, I really don't care for this title. Maybe, and just maybe, I get it if we get more information that look actually good

well if you've seent he extended trailer there are tons of improvements(not that I ever disliked XIII anyways), but if it's any consolation, at least this one will be the last one if you hated the XIII family so much...as for thet people that liked XIII and XIII-2, hopefully it has a good ending to sum everything up

XIII-2 was an amazing game, and Im looking forward to the conclusion....

imo you can't really delay a game that never had a release date. That being said, Nomura and the co- directors have been done with Lightning Returns for some time now. I blame it really on Hashimoto (producer). No one could really get things done and polished at the pace like Kitase does. That and the team is fully invested to much within the Kingdom Hearts games. With KH 3D and the HD release 1.5

It would be awesome if this game sold 5 copies. I just wish something would force Square Enix to change direction. Hopefully they'll have something good in store for XV... or at least something wildly different from these XIII games. SE is good about changing things up, I'll give them credit for that.
