Reach was never "FPS King" and how is 91 a bad score?

I predict that it will score 9.0 scoring below it, or 9.5 matching it...But it will be some major ownage if it doesn't...almost a year after halo reaches release if it doesn't score atleast AAA then Cows will destroyed on system wars.

killzone3 will be the best shooter this gen. its has 3d, move support, coop splitscreen, dedicated servers and more. its going to sell boatloads and score boatloads tooo can not wait any longer!

if game standards were thrown in for Reach it would of been lucky to get 7.5

kz3 looks and probably plays exactly like KZ2, and it still has that horrible death animation. the gameplay is way too slow and not in a tactical way but in a really boring way. terrible spawn system, u have to spend like 1 minute running to get to where the action is after every death. i had to force myself to achieve general in kz2 because the gameplay was THAT BORING. im not sure how much kz2 sold (around 3m?) but the online community ditched it so fast because of the heavy feel, sluggish gameplay, and lack of FUN. i really hope the gameplay is changed and x10 times faster but from what beta testers are saying, its the same game which is a BAD thing. to answer the question: Highly DoubtfulLenGen

I dont care. Reach surprised me as a non Halo fan as it was a solid FPS with a good story (the first one Ive enjoyed since CE). KZ3 will hopefully be as enjoyable as the second one if it is then Ill enjoy it.

So both games will rock my collections and a review wont change that

As far as I'm concerned, Crysis is better than both KZ and Halo while also looking a full generation ahead.

That being said KZ3 does look good while Halo: Reach looks like the same game released for the 5'th time.

TLDR: Crysis is FPS King and GFX KING as well.

Crackdown 2 and Infamous as well. They are both sand-box I guess but crackdown 2 was a third person shooter.

KZ3 has no chance on GS, it will a 8.5-9.0 here.

It might score higher or lower than Reach on MC, we can't really predict that since MC is full of crap for the most part.

Games get perfect scores from magazines such PS lifestyle or Official Xbox Magazine, while getting 50's from random sites trying to get hits.

One of the reviews for Reach said the SP was cheap because enemies have infinite ammo on their guns and when you pick up the same guns you can run out of ammo.

Doubt Killzone 2 with snow and more brown will outscore Reach even on MC. Won't have the player base like Halo Reach's too. It will be left out to dry like Killzone 2.

As the 150th poster its probably too late for anyone to care about my opinion as I'm sure the thread has broken off into other arguements but I'd like to say that it isn't likely.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be getting it, but killzone just isn't a juggernaut like Halo is. Its news to me that Halo is the FPS king anyways, I think Call of Duty probably deserves that award regardless of how generic and stupid I think the series has become. Sales and scores.

I just don't think Killzone is as good as Halo, sorry. (Coming from someone whose coworkers call him a Sony fanboy)

It seems as though not enough people got a look at the leaked Single Player footage (that was nothing less than amazing), and the fact that it practically confirmed co-op campaign. Kz3 IS getting a 9 or highier (wouldn't be suprised one bit if it hit 9.5), I can almost guarantee it.

I was one of the lucky few who got to beta test Kz3. While the beta had it's issues of it's own, Guerrilla Games handle the negative critisizm better then any dev I've ever seen, and made a grocery list of things they have confirmed will be fixed with the final release, based on what fans had to say.

Also, I'm not one to judge a game based on it's pedigree. I learned my lession with Devil May Cry 2. You can NEVER base success or failure of a new game in development just because it had success in the past. Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Farcry, FEAR, Halo Wars, Socom, and many other series are living proof of this. Each game is a whole new possibility of failure or success, and from what we've seen on Killzone 3, the game looks nothing less than amazing.

My positive optimism might not be shared among a lot of gamers (and might be flat out wrong come Feb. 22), but do know almost EVERY issue people had with previous Killzone titles have at LEAST been taken into consideration by Guerrilla Games.
